This book provides a general overview of interior finishes and materials. I will be using it in an introduction interior archictecture studio to allow the students to view materials and finishes in a visual and objective manner. The book provides information on the materials based on physical performance balanced with aesthetic considerations. The author does a good job of not providing a biased review of materials, but a collection of objective ideas. One of the real strengths of the book is the listing of the web sites and information on the manufacturers so one can follow up with more detail.
