Nice candle- yes, Orange zest smell - no.
The candle is nice but nothing fancy. I was looking for something that has that orange zest smell but this did not fill the bill. It does have a pleasant smell but not like a fresh orange.

Red & Orange Memories
This is my second favorite scent of Stella Mare's; Beach Flower tops the list. I love her candles because the smells don't overpower and they last the stated (very long) burn time. An Italian orange is a blood orange, I believe, accounting for the deeper orange hue and the welcome subtle scent, that nevertheless permeates the household after an hour of burning. Green Fig is the least pungent, but I like it in the bedroom before sleep; the lovely notes of gardenia and fir work better than lavender to put me out!She has a second orange variation, Cranberry Tangerine, which I like for the bathroom as it eliminates any odor immediately! But my heart truly belongs to "Beach Flower," although that's not a thing that exists in nature. It contains cinnamon and carnation of all things, a scent combination in my favorite old-timey cologne, Ralph Lauren's "Lauren" in the deep red bottle, first introduced in 1980. Unfortunately, Ralph changed the formula after 25 years and the later bottles denote a chemicalization of the aroma. That's another thing I like about Stella Mares-- no chemical undertones. BTW, these are priced very well, and are comparable to what they sell for at my local boutique grocery stores, Gelsen's and Whole Foods. These burn forever chronologically, and unforgettably in your olfactory memory!
