I bought this color (topaz) to give my white hair a different color and it looks great. Makes them look more blond than white this way I really don't cover them completely which was beginning to be a hassle when you start getting too white.Henna, which I've been using since college is better for your hair than artificial haircolors. It makes my hair thick, shiny and soft. I'm really happy with it and will continue to use it.

Not as gritty as others I have tried. Almost like matcha tea. My hair is very thin. For any hair type I recommend using a color tint brush and sectioning off hair into veeerrry thin slices so you can "paint" the front and the back sides of the slice and get all the roots with minimal hair breakage. If you are new to henna, it does not disperse and saturate into hair like a liquid or a cream color. Use gloves. Use over non-porous surface. When it dries you will find itty-bitty pieces all over. Good thing is though when it dries, if over a sink or tile floor, you can vacuum it right up. Sounds wierd I know. But it's like leaf particles. My hair is quasi-virgin (pool, sun etc.), medium and light blonde with grey. The color turned out to be more golden than ash as the chart depicts and as I had hoped. I have yet to find a henna that goes into the cool tone family. But it still gave my hair nice overall tone and helped the greys to blend. Need lots of conditioner and water to rinse out. Which I expected of a henna product. I like the resealable container. Good product.

Turned to dark... Pretty red but to dark for me... Gray coverage was not good at all... Not my favorite...

This product didn't color my hair as much as I hoped for. I have a medium dark brown hair, and I wanted to give it an orangy tint, but at the end the result was almost invisible. Also, this henna product is very gushy and tough to wash off the hair. I've used other henna products, and found this one to be the least satisfying.

They say it is brown but it is a blonde color henna. Good brand of henna. Like the color well enough.

Avigal henna has always given me great results. I have tried other brands of henna - they cost more per use and barely showed up. I mix colors to get the soft strawberry blond that I used to have. It produces natural looking variations as well as great condition and shine. I mix a little more olive oil than the directions say; I have dry hair and live in a dry climate. Even though I blow-dry, hot curl, straighten and otherwise put my hair through the mill, it's never before been this long ( 8-9 inches below my chin) and free from breakage or split ends. I happily recommend this to anyone; the lightest color just adds shine and conditioning. There are shades from ash blond to almost black. Not all of them are red-hued, but if you weren't lucky enough to be born a redhead, here's your chance!

I purchased this product for my daughter. She has blonde hair, and wanted to do "henna" in her hair like I do. We didn't want to color her hair, so this was a good option. She is almost seven, and hates having her hair brushed. I hoped that the conditioning effect would help, and it did. We let this sit out overnight to allow for dye release (there is still some dye in this though not usually visible on hair). I mixed it with a small amount of coconut oil, and a little cinnamon to make it smell better for her. She left it on for about an hour and a half, and then rinsed until clean. We then shampooed to get the coconut oil out. Her hair was shiny and soft, and much easier to detangle. We had less tangles over all. It is time to do our hair again, and we plan to keep using this on her hair.I have also used this product in between using real henna on my own hair to add shine and improve manageability. I generally mix it with some conditioner or coconut oil, and leave it on for an hour or two. It works great and rinses easily.Pros:- great shine and improved manageability- finely sifted, with no twigs or other plant bitsCons:- a little pricey compared to other brands- messy (although, any plant product used in hair generally is messy)

This colors hair well without harming my hair or scalp. It also is fairly true to the color. I am very happy with this product and recommend it to my friends.
