This book was THE best guide that I have ever purchased - especially for a short trip. I was in Seattle for only 3.5 days. and read it on my flight. The guide is small but has close to 200 pages.Everything is covered you might need in a city where you spend less that a week. Every area is sorted by chapter: 28 Ways to see the City: I bet that you'll find more that enough information about any subject that you need: may it be special interests, neighbourhood walks, day trips, excursions, best shopping, dining (not used), entertainment or what-not.The guide has a fold-out map on stronger cardboard paper in front with a map of the greater Seattle area and on the other side is a close-up of downtown. My favourite part was the removable plastic covered map: perfect for my small purse and easy to read.Just like the book!

There is something about flipping through a book while your sitting in a new city figuring out where you want to go next. The book had some good hints, when cross referenced with yelp or trip advisor you are a SUPER knowledgeable traveler! Enjoy!

Helpful when planning ahead
A very informational little guidebook. A couple of times, the address of a place to visit was not included. The address is helpful when using 'maps' on one's phone. AAA's Washinton Book provided that needed info.

fantastic and pocket sized
This is a terrific pocket-size book organized in several useful ways: by 1, 2 or 3 day suggested itineraries; sections for dining, shopping and hotels are each prefaced by "best of", followed by location maps and thorough descriptions. Many useful tips and secret gems of Seattle throughout. This is one-stop shopping as my guide for an upcoming vacation there! Several fold-out attached maps and one larger detachable map. Very good!

Same great quality
Almost have the Seattle plan made. Great way to put a travel plan together. Need a better way to work out the maps.

Great guide book
Really useful travel guide. Gives good detail about places to go and what to do if you only have a short amount of time in the city. Suggests how to spend one, two or three day visits along with other ideas of day trips to nearby places. Would highly recommend!

Nice information by neighborhood and great maps
Nice information by neighborhood and great maps. I have this and the DK Top 10 book, and this one is much better in terms of trip planning.
