THE GOOD BUILD QUALITY OF HOOK The metal hooks are a great feature. These look like mounted wall hooks and will add a quality finished appearance to a room that needs quick hanging storage. THEY COME APART The hook is built in two parts. There is a plate in the back that can be slide off to remove and reapply the hook without removing the adhesive. Its not easy to remove but its a possibly useful feature if you need to clean behind the hook. BALL TIP The ball tip helps prevent items from falling off the end and this is a great design feature for bulkier items. It increases the surface of the hook. MOISTURE ROOM ADHERANCE I've used these in a bathroom with some other command strip 3M hooks. They haven't been up as long but they appear to hold with nearly the same strength. THE BAD The weight of the hooks does take away from the total load capacity on the adhesive strip. Its not dramatic but in certain circumstances such as less than ideal surface mount cleanliness and textures this added weight could be the difference them holding or not. PRICE These aren't cheap. At 20 dollars that comes to about 5 USD each for a pack of 4. That is close to the cost of screw mount hooks. I suppose sense these are metal it shouldn't make a difference but the strips are not as reusable as the screws that most likely come with mounted hooks. The fact that they don't require holes in the wall is a feature for some and so the cost in that case may be worth spending for others. NOTES Aside from the price, I can't find a reason not to recommend these hooks.

I'm removing two stars because it's very hard, in fact so far impossible, to get the hook back on the base. I put the adhesive strip on the base, and then the base on the wall, per the instructions. When it was time to slide the hook on, it wouldn't go. So finally I had to unstick the base and even then I couldn't get the two pieces back together. I finally gave up and grabbed another hook, did not separate the base and hook, and stuck it to the wall. I'm hoping it stays up. Otherwise, it does look nice. I got the silver and it looks nice on the wall next to my bathroom sink.

Great hooks and hold up to hype in the description. I received four units with two hooks on each. They came with six adhesive strips. They work like a certain name brand of these kind of wall hooks that don't tear up your wall when you remove them. I got the black hooks and they look great. They also come in white. Yay, choices! They come with easy to understand instructions if you need them. I set one up and let it sit 30 minutes to cure and hung a 3lb jug of protein powder on it. It fell. Okay. It is a bit cold and humid out right now, so I just put the hook back up on the wall (did not put a new strip on), gave it a good press and let it set overnight. I hung the 3lb jug of protein powder on it and it's been hanging there the last four hours with no problem. The hook metal is thick and strong and will not bend for me. I gave them a good bashing and no problem. The plastic housing is thick and durable. The adhesive strip sticks to my slightly textured walls and releases when the tab is pulled as it should. Just like the name brand ones. These are comparable to the name brand ones that are very similar but cheaper by several dollars per hook. I will be getting more of these with my hanging plant collection, winter is coming and so are the coats and hats, and my reusable grocery bags are now hanging instead of wandering on long journeys across the floor of my pantry.
