I grew up watching my mom and grandma saving the water from rinsing the rice that we ate frequently to use on their hair and skin. Both of them look decades younger than they are and even into my grandmother's 8th decade her hair is thick and full, her face supple and glowing. I'm sure some of it is genetics but they've always credited the rice water. I don't eat rice nearly as much now, my family just doesn't like it so I've been actively seeking out Rice water products for my skin and hair. A lot of them have been very disappointing, but not this one. I've read a couple common complaints in other reviews that I'd like to address: - some folks are bugged that all 10 masks are in the same envelope and complain about possible sanitation issues. I put this on as soon as I exit the shower so my hands are clean, but otherwise I'd just wash my hands before opening it. The envelope is Resealable and sturdy, I have no concerns about it wearing out before I finish the masks. I also like that it cuts down on waste. - I've read complaints that they smell like alcohol, and I agree, when I first take a mask out I always catch a whiff of sake, but it's not overpowering and it hasn't dried out my skin - some people complain that the masks are too small. I have a round face and it doesn't reach all the way to my ears, but as I'm laying with it on there is plenty of serum to rub onto my uncovered skin and even down onto my neck. Length wise it goes from my hairline to curving around my chin. For me these have been amazing, when I use them twice a week my skin is noticeably softer, clearer and has a glow to it. I struggle with rosacea and rice is about the only thing that calms it. I'm very pleased and will be buying more
