The Bates Method for Better Eyesight without Glasses

Although the book arrived fairly quickly it did not have the map for the eye exercise in it. I wrote to the seller and very kindly, immediately they sent me a replacement with a second copy that had a map at the back, at no extra charge.I was very impressed and touched by their considerate way of handling my request, as I would have been quite happy to pay for the second copy.I can only say thank you and rate them five stars for both the conditions of the book and the incredible,fast and professional service.

Very informative and interesting. This is for eyes what "The China Study" is for nutrition.It has a ton of exercises to practice for improving your sight, so it's more than just reading it.It's about practicing it.

The book came in good condition but one thing that didn't satisfy me was that it did not have a pull out eye testing chart. It said on the book it has it inside the book but it didn't. But overall the book is amazing!!! I would highly recommend people who wear glasses and want to improve their vision!!

A thought provoking book that will take at least two readings to grasp and practice what is being conveyed. The exercises are not particularly clearly written, however with a little patience and practice you can work out what is being said and how to do it.I credit the book with giving me greater awareness of improving my eye health and I have managed to no longer wear my weak prescription (1.0) reading glasses. I don't have much of an eye problem so I suspect it is worthwhile for people with greater need to wear glasses all the time.Like anything that challenges conventional thinking, it will have its supporters and detractors - however there is really no downside to opening your mind to some of the concepts that the book introduces.

As I bought this book after I came across the Bates Method as a natural way to improve your eyesight without glasses. This isn’t the most interesting read, the first half of the book is full of background and detailed theory on how the eyes works, which is a difficult read unless you are optician! The book isn’t really simple or straightforward to read, and there are other books out there which present the Bates Method in a much more simpler and easier way for the reader to follow and put into practice. Great Method but not the best book to introduce you to it.

On the back of the book it is mentioned that "every copy includes a detachable eye chart " and on the front it is mentioned too, but nothing is enclosed.

Many of the things in this book work if one is willing to give it a shot. Found it helpful in reducing Presbyopia. I don't use my reading glasses any more.

J'ai trouvé le livre très instructif sur la façon dont les gens ont été induits en erreur par les opticiens au sujet de leur vision. Il est tout au sujet de l'argent et le profit bien sûr. Suite à l'avis donné par lui-même devrait améliorer sa vue.
