Light and wholesome
Its fantastic. Feels like we are eating something what we are as children. Nutty, light and an absolute delight. We make salad and paired with raita. It goes well with all veggies, daal.

I HAVE PURCHESED TWO PACKETS OF CHINGRIHULI RED RICE. WHILE THE QUALITY EVERY THING IS VERY GOOD, ONE OF THE PACKETS OF RICE WAS INFESTED WITH PESTS.. I DONT KNOW WHO THIS IS POSSIBLE BUT ON OPENING WE FOUND A LOT OF BLACK COLOURED PESTS IN THE PACKET. THIS IS JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION SO THAT NEXT TIME YOU CAN LOOK INTO THE SAME

Good product compact packeging .
This Chingrihuli RedRice from north W Bangla looked so much like d red Pulut Rice v used to get in Malaysia. Out of curiosity I bought d same, Not really dissapointed ,rice toook longer to cook but good wt nutty flavor rice cooked / like pop corn ,open flowers ! Packiging was excellent &it was a Good Value for money As I prepared from this rice a sweet porriege wt brown sugar ,sweetpotato Coconut milk wt daun pandang/ Basmathi leaves it reminde me of our yrs in Far East! .must try to make regular rice!

Delicious but distinct smell of cooked shrimp
I use this rice along with mix of other rice varieties and it is very tasty to eat. It takes a little longer to soften and has a distinct smell of cooked shrimp (for those who are not comfortable with the cooking shrimp).

Worst quality. There were lots of weevils in the rice. Waste of money.
