Single crystal copper (referred to as OCC) applied to the production of audio wire, is a major breakthrough in audio wire manufacturing industry in recent years. Scientific experiments show that: single crystal copper is a high-purity oxygen-free copper, unlike oxygen-free copper (OFC), having a large number of internal grains, its whole copper rod consists only of one single grain so there is no "grain boundary", which can reflect & refract signals and then cause signal distortion and attenuation. Therefore OCC do much better in signal transmission than OFC.

Sounds Good, Smells Bad
Bought this to replace my stock UE900 cable which had started to fray at one of the MMCX connectors. The cable is nice, low microphonics. Works well with my UE900(non s), angled MMCX connectors play nice. Included case was nice but mine smelled bad like an ashtray, and because the cabled shipped inside, the plastic picked up the smell. Still letting it air out a few days later.Little bit brighter than stock UE900 cable, but SPC usually has that tendency.Side note: I could tell by the images, but the full jack jack is a bit hefty for this lightweight cable. I'll probably switch it with a lighter duty one later on.

Loose connection bricked my earbud
I really wanted to like these because they look so cool, but the ones I received had such loose connection on my right IEM that it somehow bricked it. You read that right, it made my right earbud useless even with a new cable. It may have been a defect but beware of this issue. If it has a loose connection, stop using it immediately before it breaks something.

One of the hidden diamonds on Amazon
I'm not sure why some other reviewers had a problem with these connectors but I've been using MMCX connectors since they first came out and these connectors are better than most. MMCX connectors are fairly tiny so you need to be careful to make sure you have the connector seated properly before pushing it in.I've been using these cables on my FiiO F9-Pro IEM's for over 2 months and they have the best sound of any cables I currently own, some of which were priced over $100. You will be amazed by how clear high frequencies are with these due to the combination of single crystal copper and silver coating. The difference between the sound of flutes, violins and cymbals on these vs. stock cables is instantly noticeable.Another big difference with these cables are how the wire feels. Most cables feel fairly stiff because they have well, wire inside of them. I'm not sure how this single crystal copper is made but it literally feels like they forgot to put the wire inside. It's as flexible as if it was made of cotton which makes them almost unnoticeable when you are wearing them. Finally, the blue and purple color combination just looks great! :-)

Bad Mmcx connectors don't bother
They looked fine and worked fine but the mmcx connectors are junk and don't fit tight
