Soft!
This is so helpful. My daughter is on continuous oxygen so this helps her not remove it from her nose but it’s soft enough to not hurt her face when scratching or if she falls alseep

good quality...
if your child is banging his head with his fists you need to put some hypoallergenic tape around the sock to keep it in place above the elbows

Well made, some issues
I purchased these to prevent scratching for my 4 month old who has eczema. I love the actual mitten part, which is plush, soft fabric on the outside to prevent scratches, and cotton on the inside to make sure he doesn’t get a hand rash. A couple of issues - my son is easily able to scoot these down so his hand is in the knit part which is rougher, then he rubs his face and it causes some irritation. The tightness or fabric of the sleeve also seems to irritate his skin on his forearms unfortunately. If I roll down the sleeve part, he can pop off the entire mitten very easily. The other issue is the tag that is sewn on the edge of the knit sleeve is scratchy and rough, which could do some damage if your child is wearing these without a shirt on, as mine was. I took the tag out with a seam ripper with no issue so this is easily fixable. If this company produced just the mittens, no sleeves, with some kind of velcro or drawstring to prevent falling off, they would be perfect and I would definitely purchase.

Wonderful for our daughter with eczema and TSW
So grateful for this product! My daughter has been using them since she was a few months old (now 4) when she was diagnosed with eczema. She used to claw at her poor little head all night long. As she grew we started to do hand soaks and then covered her hands with lotion and put on her hand socks for 15-30 minutes and they work amazingly! She loves that she can pull her hands out if her needs to as well. The fabric is super soft and high quality and the gloves so not slip down. I have gotten several pairs, but for myself and as baby gifts - the patterns are adorable and all the mommies have loved them!

Adorable but not the best option for my daughter.
I purchased these for after my daughter’s surgery to keep her hands out of her mouth. First off, the product itself is genius and you can tell it is a well-made. The fox detail is adorable as well. I wanted these to work well for my daughter, but they unfortunately didn’t. She preferred to wear the elbow immobilizers we bought her. I am not sure if it was the summer heat or sensory preferences, but these were not used as much as I would have hoped. Besides her protest at times, these are super easy to use. We have not washed them yet, but they seem like they would be easy to wash.

Perfect for baby that keeps scratching
We've been struggling with our 5 month old scratching her face and head with her sharp little nails no matter how often we trim her nails. She pulls off normal mittens with ease, when the ones with velcro and even if she doesn't, the material isn't soft so she still runs her face until it's red. But these hand socks... Omg they are perfect. She can't pull them off easily, they're super soft so they don't wreck her face if she rubs her skin, and I can switch between covering and uncovering her hands so she can play throughout the day. So happy I got these and I'll be buying more

Disappointed. One mitten defective.
Disappointed. One mitten defective (elastic too big and slides off my 2 month olds arm). I had already hand-washed and thrown away packaging before realizing & now stuck with $17 mittens that only has one side that works. I don’t see a customer service number in the add. I will change the review if someone reaches out to replace defective item.

Our Lifesaver!!!!! I'd give 20 stars if I could!!!!
Our daughter has Symbrachydactyly, her hand did not completely form due to a blood clot. She actually has a partial palm and nubbins, her bones are slightly different in structure. We have been so worried about how she will function, but she surprised us all. When she turned 5 months she began to full on crawl which made her "little hand" rub on a bony area we were excited and worried because a prosthesis would be heavy, but if the rubbing continued it could lead to infection and possible amputation! Then we found Handsocks!!!!!!!!!! So THANKFUL for this product mittens would come off and not enough padding to protect her. After lots of research we found this awesome product. It goes up her arm and we can fold the cuff over to where it is more of a padding for her hand when she crawls. Our daycare has allowed us to use them and praised them on daily basis because they are not spending the day worrying about ulcerations or putting them on 20x a day. They stay on even with intense baby crawling, pulling and chewing! Plus her hand is able to breath!
