Seems to be working. Haven't had a problem since I started using it.

My sewer main was completely clogged with roots. I spent $200 for a plumber to come out (twice). The plumber was not able to clear the line. I was told that I needed to replace that section of the main. Since i didnt have the money to have that done, i bought this product as a last ditch effort. I did run my pipe auger through the pipe until i managed to punch a hole through the problem area first. Then i used this product through the toilet.I am amazed at the results!! It has been 3 months. Not a single issue with the main!! I am going to put another bottle down the toilet again soon just to keep up the results! So happy!

Used it for the first time today! I watched some videos on how to use it. A few said if you can, use it out at the clean-out for the main sewer and forgo the toilet way applications. My outside clean-out is 3 feet from my house down about 6 feet. My root issue is about 40 feet from my house as I had it SCOPED 3 years ago. So I figured I would dump it down the clean-out and HOSE in about the same amount of water two flushes would be using it in that fashion, say 4 gallons. I looked into my clean-out and there was water down there! I poured the product into the pipe! Then got my hose which took a few to get screwed on right! Got the water going. SO just as the water gets going good I turn around and see a mountain of foam shooting out the clean-out pipe like toothpaste out of the tube like a fourth of July SMOKE/SPARKLER SNAKE! I quickly shoved the hose in there and got about 4 gallons in and didnt use any house hold water for 10 hours. SO now we wait!I can understand HOW this product is better than the rest as it FILLS the pipe completely up with a HERBICIDE and if left for a long time can come in contact with ALL the tree roots in the pipe and maybe put its poison into the surrounding ground and pipes. I HOPE SO!WE will see this fall!

I've been using this product for years and have not had a root clog for the past 4 years. While not perfect, it will keep the amount of money that you spend on cleaning out your main sewer line to a minimum.

Bought the 2 lb pack and it arrived as 2 individual 1 lb jars sealed in a plastic bag. Pretty much as expected.Tested a pinch in a plastic cup to see how much it foams with a bit of water, definitely lots of foam. Like others have stated, there were a few clumps in the jar and I highly recommend dumping it into a tupperware or disposable bowl first and breaking up the clumps with a plastic spoon or screwdriver, etc. Makes it easier to pour straight in one shot with less mess. I dumped straight into my main line clean out valve, sealed it back up and flushed the toilet twice in a row to feed it down the main pipe between my house & street. Did it right before bed to assure we would not run the water again for a couple hours and give it time to foam up & sit. Next morning pipes appear more open and clear, drains moving faster,etc.Only 3 days in, so I'll monitor it and revise review in a few months when I know the long term effects.

Plumber of course didn't want to use it but I put it in my drain some months later I paid to have Plumber run camera down the drain pipe to see if the roots were gone and to my surprise yes they were I will continue to use this product

does the job exactly as it says i like to use it every 4-6 months. Be sure and follow the instructions exactly or it wont be effective.. I used to have a plumber come to my home and drill the roots out of my drains once or twice a year because water backed up all over my basement becasue pipes were blocked by roots costing me hundreds of dollars. Ive used this for 3 years now and never had a problem.

I gave this a try because of the great reviews but this did not work and I purchased 2 bottles. It does foam very quickly so be careful. For some reason there was a strip of toilet tissue mixed into both of the bottles.
