Heeltips Replacement Heel tip u-shaped 11x11 mm

These were the perfect thing to fix my heels! somehow in walking on the sidewalk, one of my heel tips got stuck between the cracks. These new tips brought them back to life! To make sure you get the right size for your shoes, I definitely recommend finding a "size chart" online somewhere. you can print out the shapes on a piece of paper and line it up with your shoe to get the right fit. Just make sure you print the page "true to size" instead of "fit to page" so you have the right scale!

These fit perfectly. The nearest cobbler is 60 miles away, so needed to fix my good heels myself. I had worn the old heel tips completely off and had been walking on the nails/dowels so they were somewhat flattened and hard to get out. Make sure, if you are using the D shaped tips, to line them up the best you can before you start hammering them in. You cannot adjust the alignment once you have them in. Otherwise this was simple, pull out the old tip, hammer in the new one, I used a tack hammer and was careful not to hit it too hard so I didn't damage the new tip.

I ordered these with the intention of repairing my heels from home. When I got these in the mail, I immediately attempted to repair a pair of heels, only to rip off the old tip, leaving the peg in the shoe. I ended up taking the shoes to a local cobbler, who repaired the shoes for $9. Also, the cobbler shined the shoes for free.I probably won't attempt to repair another pair.

Seem well made and all. But I used a chart to try and get the right size and they still don't fit. The caps do. Just not the stems. Plus they were sent to me all loose in a paper envelope. Not that that matters. I guess.

They did not work as I thought they should have. When I removed the old tips,they were not the same type and these would not go in and stay. Tried to glue them into place, but my balance never felt right.

I had a pair of boots that the tip came off and I could no longer walk in them without falling. My hubby used these to fix my boots and now I can wear them again!

just fixed my favorite heels. took me awhile because the stupid tip before decided to break off without telling me and i basically had to carve the nail-thingy out...but if it wasn't for that i would have taken less than 5min instead of 30...stupid nail-thingy

The dimensions are fully accurate. It was literally as easy as pull out the old one, get a hammer and tap in these ones. Still going strong.
