BPL 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper, A18KI5C8A, White)

I brought this ac in 2019 Feb, till now no issue, working like a gem, my sincer advice to all, don't use company or Amazone installation service. Search for local known ac installer or ac machanic and use his service then your ac will work long life without any issues like me. don't blame companies. Main problem is the installation.

Working fine after 4 years without any issue

Dont buy this. I have bought it for my office and it started raining problems in the very first month. Worst part is BPL's support. Its been days since multiple reports, but no resolution.Problem: it starts smelling bad when we start ac everytime and everytime compressor starts running. It lasts for atleast about half hr.The executive who came to check said, tgat that it is the rooms bad quality air that it filters. And only feasible solution to this is use room spray regularly and as much as the bad smell is.Two things here:1. This is the weirdest reason i have every heard. If the normal room dont have smell, why would it smell bad after it filters. We studied refrigeration ourself, it just cannot be that.Simply getting rid of issue was company. Later to our arguments, our case is put on hold since 10 days and its 45 degree in nagpur.2. How can using air spray be a solution. It has to be permanent solution. I cannot keep spraying the room when clients come to meet me.Lessons learned:1. Buy heavy electronics offline only. There is someone who u can talk to.2. Never buy AC from companies like BPL. Rather i ll stick to known names like carrier, Mitsubishi, samsung, voltas etc.

The AC is a good one at price after discount at 26K. Its 5star and 1.5 ton and cool very efficiently a 250 sqfeet room. The installation though was delayed by 5hours it was done perfectly. AC was received a day prior to installation in well packed cartons. The service experts were polite and professional enough to handle the delay. AC is really good at cooling though the ODU seems bulky, but the fan in ODU big enough to keep the compressor cool and dissipate warm air out. Still not used to the max limit due to chill in air. Will edit the review after the coming summer.Edit 1: This AC is fabulous and has been very efficient and effective in cooling and at a price as 26K with top specifications is a deal to grab. It cools the 250 sqft hall in just 20 mins, dat too on 25 deg temp settings which was in peak summers. Yes, I did face an issue of cooling once but the BPL care resolved it after a follow-up call. That is OK I guess, as nothing is predictable. Service assurance is must. I am really Happy with the choice of brand chosen for AC.

Honestly, I was bit skeptical before buying this awesome product. After I understood how well your technicians are trained to install. Awesome ac, awesome cooling, awesome price. TVS-E technicians are well trained and well behaved. No additional cost except the one for installation which I have paid 1500. Rest all was up to my expectation. Don't miss. Entire built is Cooper. And BEE rating is 5star

Quality of product is very good. Build indoor unit plastic body materiel is tick and have good quality. Copper pipes of 3 meter each have very good quality. out door unit body materiel is strong and well painter. connecting wires also they have taken care. inner connecting pipes and out door unit uses copper only.when coming to cooling, its cools fast in turbo mode . Hardly take 10 min to cool big room in turbo mode. normal mode at 25 c it take 20 min to cool room.sleep mode is awesome. it detect your room temperature and automatically on and off, so no need of manual on and off.eco mode help you to save your energy bills.

Inverter along with 2018 5 star rating for this price is quite surprising.One day delivery and the installation people arrived on the 2nd day.professional installers. Did their work perfectly and never asked for a penny more than what was said.The AC is quiet. cools the room really quickly and the auto mode works perfectly to save energy and maximize cooling.Good buy overall.Edit: I'm seeing a lot of negative review just because of installation. That's not how product reviews should go. Installation review will be sent later. As a product this AC is outstanding.
