Only used this briefly, but so far I'm very impressed. I have a few other ThruNite flashlights and this one is very bright and would/will be perfect for making my way back to the car from hikes once the sun has set. It's super small and easy to carry and the usb -c charging is convenient. The fact that you can depress the button and the light will stay on for as long as you are depressing it is a great feature for getting into my car or looking for something while on the go. Hard to beat this edc light for the price and size. Highly recommended .

I had broke the belt clip and I couldn't easily carry it anymore but ThruNite sent a replacement clip. Great customer service. This is a great little flood light. The medium 200 lumen setting is perfect for this flashlight. The run time on medium of 2 hours 20 minutes is a lot longer than it seems. It can also recharge fast depending on the charger, I usually charge this little flashlight in my car and it will go from Red to Green in about 30-45 minutes. I hardly ever use it past the medium setting because it's bright enough for most uses. The power button is very nice it has an easy clicking feel to it. The belt clip on this light is really good. It makes it so easy to carry. Taking out the light is easy with one hand and also clipping it back can be done with one hand. It's also a secure belt clip. the light will not slide out wherever it's clipped on. Overall a great little flashlight that's easy to carry, shines bright, good run time, easy to charge and budget friendly.

im a flashlight nut, and this a very interesting example, and deserves a write up. the biggest problem with pocket lights is accidental activation, inside your pocket. it drains the battery and can overheat. to stop this, designers have used various methods to “lock out” accidental activation. most, including thrunight, use a complex key sequence to induce a lockout mode. The problem is, if you forget the use the key sequence, you can put the light back into your pocket and then drain it. also, once locked out, the light requires an equally complex key sequence to unlock it. Zebralight has overcome this problem with an ergonomic recessed button design, but for others, its an ongoing problem. But Zebralight is very expensive. This light offers a novel and clever design to stop accidental activation. the downside is it requires learning a UI that is atypical to most flashlight users. the good this is the most powerful light, for its size that i have ever used. its brightness overpowers much bigger flashlights i own. it is tiny. it is roughly the size of my pinky finger. It uses a PIR lens for size optimization. it has a keychain loop designed into it, and comes with a quality split ring. Keychain light designed in. it comes with a powerful tail magnet, that is very useful for car repair. construction and finish is excellent. water proofing is excellent. all buttons and usb connectors are o-ring rubber protected. light works submerged half meter into water. IPX8 rated. It comes with spare parts, split ring, and usb-c cable. OPERATION thrunight/704 came up with a unique method to stop accidental activation: To turn the light on, it requires two quick clicks of the side button. to turn it off, one long click. one press activates turbo, and it turns off with release. I like this temporary mode, since i often need the light for a few seconds. its super convenient. it has four modes, moonlight, low, medium and turbo. to switch between requires a single click once the light is on. to turn off, its one long click. it remembers the last mode. overall, the UI is complicated and unique. it takes some learning. but, for sure you will never burn through the battery by accidentally lighting up in your pocket. size, versatility and power is best in class. and the price is great. it is a perfect design keychain flashlight UPDATE 1 OCT 25: This went thru the washer twice, and survived. Nice.
