This year has been so bad for gnats and nothing else I tried work. The plug ins work ok at night but not in the day and not as well as this thing!!! Two days after I plugged this in I stopped seeing gnats. It’s been like a month now and still no gnats. I do keep it at full power 24/7. I tried using the day/night mode but the gnats came back. As long as it’s full power no problem.

Truly I can't believe the reviews on this item lol! This bug catcher absolutely does not work. I had high hopes. I loved that it had the apple to put something like apple cider in. However, the 5 gnats it caught in a spand of 4 days surrounded around gnat infested plants, they all escaped! It won't hold them in they will just fly out. I did love that it was magnetic and the appearance was appealing however it was returned because why keep an item that doesn't do at all what it's intended to do. I used one with a sticky paper after I returned this one and wow hundreds of gnats in the bottom! Don't buy this item unless you want to return something.

Great price and very effective for fruit flys

This item is ok I guess it doesn’t attract allot the flies just fly around it only a couple. I’m disappointed in this product I thought it would be bigger and better made.

This gets nats ans small flying pests but they just come out of the huge holes at bottom. I bought 6 different kinds but then I just got a zapper and its so amazing they dont have to be hung nowadays and they have a storage area for all dead flying pests. But if this had much smaller holes it would have been able to work
