Metra Axxess GMOS-LAN-01 LAN OnStar Interface for Non-Amplified Systems

Installed a few of these with double din radios on my recent gm vehicles. Makes installing a breeze for this canbus system with minimal splicing of the radio harness.

I purchased a cheaper off brand head unit and was unable to power it up, I installed a kenwood multimedia unit and it works great , chimes, dim, steering wheel controls , was not able to save the factory Sirius XM radio but still have the app thru the apple car play.

The wiring harness is perfect, I need to set up SWC but everything else works if wiring is done correctly. The dash kit does not fit as it should. I used it for a 2011 chevy Silverado. The screw holes are a quarter inch off, and will not allow the dashboard to be clipped back in properly. I made it work but it doesn’t sit flush.

The harness did its job. Nothing really to complain about there other than the module is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of space. I unfortunately made the choice to order an open box item because it was half the price of a new one. The item was listed as being in great condition but was not in its original packaging. Well that was either a complete lie or a gross oversite by whoever inspects returns. The harness was chopped up, modified, included no original documents, still had bell connectors on al the wires from the last person that ordered it. I had to download the wiring instructions and Google pics of what the harness looks like new to repair it before I could install it. The Label on the module was so faded that it had obviously been installed in a car for quite some time so I am not even sure how it was was allowed to be returned. Bottom line, if its not new in box assume it is 1000 times worse than the condition description that Amazon provides. I don't think they actually have anyone inspecting them.

I used this when I installed a new touchscreen head unit in my 2016 Chevy Express 3500 passenger van. It retained OnStar, the chimes, and RAP. The hardest part of the installation was the dash removal, but this kit made the wiring really easy. It also came with the antenna adapter. Since I don't have steering wheel controls this kit gave me everything I needed for the wiring. Nice product, seems way overpriced for what it is, but I don't know of a better alternative.

Purchased this March 16th of 2022 and it died March 1st 2023. I've reached out to customer support and will update this once I've received feed back, but very disappointed that it did not even last a year. Edit:13MAR2023 - I've spent the past few days emailing back and forth with customer service. After confirming that everything In my system works after bypassing the defective module, they spent 2 days emailing me to check wires one at a time. Sometimes they would answer in a few minutes, sometimes hours. After finally convincing them that it was in fact the module that was the issue, March 8th: Customer service - Let me send your information off to the correct department to get a warranty approval. If this is approved can you confirm the shipping address in on the receipt is current? March 8th: ME - Yes. March 9th early morning: This should be being processed today. Me later that day - Nothing yet - What's the status him later that day: As mentioned earlier it was being processed today. An order has been placed, and will be shipped directly to you. Me in my head.. Did you just as previously mentioned me? Me today, 13MAR2023 - STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING. So, AS PREVIOULY MENTION.... Status please? Even if I get a new part, this customer service is a big ol' 0. 19MAR2023: still no tracking number, Still no confirmation of part replacement, still radio silence. Going to recommend some ITIL at this point for this "Customer service" 21MAR2023: Got a replacement part today, Never received a tracking number or an update what so ever since the 9th. A really terrible experience. Hope this one can make it longer than a year.

Was the perfect solution to my radio on my silver not turning on/off with my truck. Works great now even go som chimes and other dings I never new it had once I connected the harness to the radio.

It's kind of pricey but worth it. I used this to install an aftermarket radio in my 2006 Impala. It was as simple as crimping like colored wires together and plugging it into the car. As a bonus it had the harness for the steering wheel controls box that I had purchased too. I didn't realize it comes with an antenna adaptor also. Don't try to cut corners or cheap out like I did. This saves you hours of hassle and money. Plus it has everything you need minus the steering wheel control box.

Works great for my 2020 Chevrolet express 2500 Cargo van with Onstar. You set the door chime and onstar volume on the module before you put it together. I noticed a relay in the harness not wired to do anything which puzzled me until I installed it and realized thats for your signal light "click" so you know they're on. That's pretty genius as the original one would have been through the speaker and you'd have to cut the music to hear the click. 10/10. Super happy. Also comes with the antenna adapter so be smart and uae that one instead of buying a spearate one like I did...

This wiring harness was exactly the right one I needed. It plugged into my existing stereo seamlessly.

It works and everything that is supposed to ding does!
