3DMakerWorld Flexion Retrofit Kit for Dual Extruder (Makerbot Replicator 2X)

This will make your Replicator 2X work like it's supposed to! Reduced plugged nozzles to almost nil and improved efficiency 10 fold. I can't emphasize enough how much of an improvement this kit is!1-1/2 years later and just now got my first clogged nozzle. Running great up till then. Probably have close to 100 parts out of it. I did forget to mention that the silicone cover does cover one of the holes as they are NOT mirror images of one another. I did have to cut out the piece covering the hole on one extruder block but other than that it is ABSOLUTELY compatible with the Replicator 2X.

Great replacement for the stock extruder. My printer has never worked so well, so consistently. I’ve not tried anything but abs, though tweaking the feeder was super easy in place. This isn’t for aoyone not wanting to take their main assembly apart.Note on the other review, there are no instructuons, though upon request instructions can be sent.

The extruders I got are NOT compatible with Makerbot Replicator 2X. There are three holes drilled for the sensor, but the one that probably fits the sensor is completely covered by the silicon cover.Also, they shipped one extruder with a 0.3mm nozzle and the other one with a 0.4mm nozzle, essentially rendering the extruders incompatible for most standard prints. The extruders ship with 4 extra nozzles, but in total there is only ONE 0.4mm nozzle.I like the design, but it seems the production of these extruders is totally careless. What a shame!

Considering all of the information that's left out, and the sparseness of an organized step-by-step procedure, I'm too stupid to follow the installation instructions. It's like I'm already expected to know how to do it, and they don't feel it necessary to help. I'd be very happy to give a better review if they'd give me a useful set of instructions. As it is now, what a waste! I feel like I threw away my money!
