Very easy install watched video online and had it up and running with in a few hours

Been using this as a simple 12VDC fan controller. I picked up a high flow 120mm fan that needed a bit of control as the RPM's are high and it's quite noisy. Simple to hook up, easy as pushing and button and go. Where this controller excels though, is the input abilities, especially for things like limit switches. Unfortunately I am not taking advantage of this yet, so I can't attest to this function, but so far it's good to go. The manual is rather simple, more of a picture book than anything, but it's enough to get you going. Theres a ton of options built into this controller that i have yet to take advantage of, making it extremely versatile. I will certainly come back and update this review once I can fully put it though it's paces. At 20 bucks, I think it's a pretty good deal.

I have been working on making a bobbin winder for both floss bobbins and weaving shuttle bobbins. I have a 12v dc gear reduction motor that runs at about 300 rpm which is too fast. I used one of those simple pwm motor controllers but that also required a switch and it could only turn the motor in the clockwise direction unless I switched the + and - leads on the motor. This controller has it all in one nice compact package. It can control CW or CCW direction of the motor and has an integrated switch. It also has a display for showing the speed. There are many other features of this controller that I will likely not need but I love how easy it was to wire it up. There are four screw terminals, two for input and two for output. I put my 12v power supply on the input side and the motor leads on the output side. No other wiring needed!
