Efficient cooling
AC unit works very well cooling living room sized 11' x 15' that is on West side of the house. Flows into the dining room and keeps it at a comfortable temperature. Mostly use economy setting. Easy set up in window. Replacement for a 5k BTU unit, same setting and doesn't run non-stop.

BEST AC IVE HAD
Oh my goodness I am so thankful that I purchased this AC. It is amazing it connected easily to ALEXA with the ECHO devices I accidentally bought one this one 10,000 BTU which was way more than I actually needed for the size of my place that it needed cool. I probably didn’t even need a 5000 BTU to cover my place. Lol so this works exceptionally well for me. I have been using it almost yeah I’d say pretty much daily all day all night since I put it in. I really love this AC so much love the fact that it connects to ALEXA and the ECHO devices that way if you’re in bed at night and you know it was hot when you went to bed so you left the AC on you wake up middle of night and it’s starting to get too cold. All you gotta do is say hey ALEXA turn the AC off or turn it to 69-70 and boom it’s off or temp is up. 😂 Oh did I mention it cools down to a chilly CHILLY🥶 61 degrees . When I bought this and I think it was the end of April because I was trying to get prepared for summer I got it for 225 bucks at 10,000 BTU. That’s pretty crazy. I feel pretty lucky. Also, I did not have a window to put it in where I live so I had to cut a hole out in my wall. I’m not sure that matters to anybody but if anybody else doesn’t have a window, I’m just letting them know you can cut a hole out in your wall and put it in as long as you mount it and insulate it and you know make sure bugs and other stuff can’t get through it. That’s not something I did myself either😁 a professional did it .

Quiet for garage, bargain priced, dry mode very handy!
I bought the Garvey 10,000 BTU air conditioner for my 784 sq. ft. with a 10’ garage with a 10’ ceiling. It did come with a remote which I was a little confused rather it would or not. Although it’s only rated at 450 sq. ft. It works very well at keeping the garage at a comfortable temperature during the hot days. I mostly only run it in dry mode because the main reason for this purchase was to keep the humidity down in order to protect tools etc. and also to keep the temperature at a comfortable level while working. I usually either run it at night or morning for about an hour when the outside temperature is cooler. It will usually stay cool through most of the day (unless temperatures get in the high 80s. My garage is very well insulated with an insulated 16’ overhead door, a front and rear insulated walk through doors and three insulated windows. There is an app that comes with it as well. I was able to install it after a few tries. It’s a bit cumbersome buy well worth the effort to make it work. (I’m a senior so anyone who is younger should have no problem getting the app to work without to many issues)

Broken junk. I want my money back.
I bought this to replace a 5000BTU Midea unit (which has worked flawlessly) and I can’t say I am thrilled with it yet. It’s louder than I expected, it vibrates a lot more, and just operating the thing is a bit of a pain because you can’t just plug it in and turn it on. You have to download a janky Chinese app first, then try and figure out how to get everything working. The room temperature displayed is way off, and it’s inconsistent. I have no way to calibrate it. That, coupled with the noise and vibration, makes me deeply concerned about the lifespan and longevity of this unit. It hasn’t had a real trial yet, so I’m anxious about whether or not it will be capable of working as well as the much smaller unit it’s replacing. I have serious doubts that it will handle our usual triple digit summer temperatures. One image shows the app, room temperature is supposedly 91 and the thermostat is set to 72. One image shows Alexa, room temperature is 91 and thermostat set to 62. One image shows a sensor two feet away from the unit with actual room temperature at 73. I am giving it three stars for now, but I am strongly tempted to return it. Update- there appears to be a sheet of styrofoam inside the unit blocking the flow of air. It is not working properly and I want to return it. Even on “high” there is almost no air movement. It also allows ambient outside air (including loads of insects) to fly in through the vents. I now have a trillion mosquitoes in here. You can SEE the green lawn right through the vents and the only air movement is coming from whatever breeze is blowing through from outside. I am extremely angry and want my money back.

Fan won't stay on.
The packaging is very minimal, I had 2 good dents in mine. But my biggest problem with it is that the fan won't stay on. I can't sleep well with that loud off and on rumble. While it's just running it's quiet but when it stops or starts back up it makes a loud rumble. It does a good job of cooling but the fan going off and on is probably going to get me to send it back. The dents just add to that.
