Isomars Wooden Vintage Oblique Holder

Oblique holder is really good. Easy to hold. I'm using daily this for Copperplate calligraphy. Nib comes with this holder is not useful. For more stuff follow me at Instagram @calligraphers_club

WRITES SO SMOOTH AND HOLDS A GOOD AMOUNT OF INK,YOU CAN WRITE AT LEAST 10 LOWER CASE LETTERS JUST BY DIPPING ONCE.THE ONLY CONS IS:QUALITY OF THE INK BOTTLE AND NIB CASING IS DEGRADED

The quality of the brass flange requires it to be of better quality, and the slid is far longer. The product is a bit costly, but the rest is good to go.

I ordered the holder along with copper nibs, but was very disappointed when the holder was delivered already crack. I could have tried to fix it, but given that it was new I didn't, and also the plastic quality was very poor so it wouldn't have lasted anyway. It is not useful. If you want an oblique holder, its better to go for a wooden holder, which will be costlier but worth the money.

Most Oblique Holders and Wooden holder are quite expensive. If you need many of these to avoid changing nibs every time, this is reasonably good choice. While wooden holders feels good in hand, this plastic oblique holder also does the job pretty well.These holders have good finish and excellent value for money. Camel poster color partially diluted in water is used in copperplate writing above. "Calligraphy" is in standard royal blue fountain ink. Preferably use any mini-plier to handle nib in/ out of holders instead of hand.

Flange angle is wrong for this holder, need to correct the flange angle...else everything is fine, holder feels lightweight , at first was not happy quality wise, but after using it for few weeks I can say, though it's lightweight it's quite sturdy
