Perfect for the 4th and Every day
It's a bit pricey but now that I have it up, it's clear that this is a very sturdy pole and mounting bracket and the flag itself is heavy duty. The no tangle feature works perfectly. Made in the USA as one would expect.

Nice if it doesn't break
6 months of use and it is toast because the cheap plastic fitting to attach the flag to on the bottom end wears through because the clip on the flag is sharp metal. I'll see if I can farm fix it but it may be toast.UPDATE: After about 5 farm fixes of this crappy flag pole I fear there are none left. While the design concept is good it fails in implementation. The poles top half is an outer tube that nests over an inner tube on ball bearings (don't ask how I figured that out). Pressed into the top and bottom of the outer tube are cheap plastic bushings with an extension of a plastic eye that the harness snaps clip through that hold the flag. The harness snaps have sharp edges that will cut through the plastic in short order if you have wind. That's how the bottom one failed. I was able to fix it with after several attempts with JB Weld and a small metal ring because half the loop was still there. The top one failed today by snapping off cleanly on both sides. The really is nothing remaining for JB Weld to attach too.If you fail to heed the multiple warnings on this and buy it anyhow I would suggest that you throw away the harness clips it attachs with and get some with smooth edges. Eventually though the poor quality plastic will become more brittle with weather exposure and fail.

Proud to be an American!
We love our flag set! The feature that prevents the flag from getting twisted on the pole is very nice. Also, the Flag itself is beautifully made! Stitched, hasn't faded one bit, and a great piece of workmanship! We love it so much we are ordering another pole kit, but without a flag, to hang our USMC flag on the other end of our front porch. It matches our pillars beautifully, which makes our HOA happy.

Broken in a small storm
The first rain storm we had where we were unable to bring the flag in from the storm, the pole snapped off and the plastic part that connects the flag to the pole broke as well. Very disappointed for such an expensive set.

Class unit
The design and construction of this set is first class. Special features like the flag unit being on ball bearings are really unique. This is the best flag unit I have ever seen. I gave the rating of 4 stars because the mounting screws are very poor. I stripped the heads of all three screws. For awhile I thought they were aluminum. No, just cheap screws. I replaced all three.Bottom line: Buy. You will be happy you did. Excellent bang for the buck.

Okay at best, but not worth the money!
This is not the high quality I expected. It's so so at best. First, the screws they include will never hold this flag up for long. They are way too small. I got some much bigger and longer ones. Also, the paint is easily scratched off the holder. I'm not sure of the strength of the poles. The flag seems cheap to me as well. If this was half the price I might be okay with it but I paid extra thinking it would be worth it. I didn't want to skimp on it. Being a Veteran, flying the American flag outside my home is very important to me. I have purchased flags from Amazon for years and this set just doesn't cut it.

Cheap plastic came broken, thin aluminum
The pole is extremely cheap I ordered two and ended up with enough parts to make one pole. The lower plastic piece that holds the lower portion of the flag was busted on one. Not surprising the cheap plastic it's made of. The lower pole portion of the other set wouldn't thread into the top portion. The threads where not set into the pole and just slid down inside when you tried to thread it into the top pole. It's also made of thin aluminum and not very sturdy. The flags themselves where nice though.

Best flag-pole kit ever!
Strong and sturdy; this pole will hold up. Great pole-in-pole design eliminates flag wrap around. Has a nice powder-coating finish for long-lasting beauty. Plus the flag you get with this kit is a beautifully sewn product (not a printed flag) that adds beauty to your home and respects "Old Glory". Easy to install. I highly recommend over cheaper products.
