I bought these with the idea of just wearing them around the house to help when I have allergies. I had more filtering masks I was using outside because my allergies got so bad. Then the pandemic hit, and I found myself being required to wear masks into stores etc. Well, I just conveniently reached for my box of surgical masks and handed a few out to each of my children. As compared to other masks, I have worn during the pandemic, these are probably the most comfortable because over the course of the summer, they don't make me feel as hot as my other masks. They also comfortably fit into my shirt pocket for convenience. They are actually pretty durable too, and to keep them from running out, I throw them in the wash when they get dirty, so I still have most of my original box of 100. They were a great, timely buy.

I feel I have a medium to large head and it fits perfect. Very comfortable. I only use it for cat litter box cleaning and scooping. Not sure how it would feel for all day use. This box of masks will probably last me a lifetime:p. I get much more than 1 use per mask. If you hate the smell of cat box as much I do, it’s worth getting a mask. Easier than holding my shirt above my nose:)

My husband and I are doing a lot of renovations around the house and I have really bad allergies. I though I would be ok with the dust that everything has been causing but apparently this was not the case. I found myself covering my nose a lot in order to keep the dust from drying me out and making me sneeze which wasn't very convenient. My husband bought me one of those huge painters masks to put on but I disliked it. I was out to lunch with my friend (nurse) and she asked if I was sick I was sneezing and coughing and I told her the situation and she recommended that I try these. I had heard of these masks before but I didn't think they would stop all the dust. Thankfully I was wrong! I love them! They are also disposable and come in a large pack so I can put on a new one each day. My husband has also taken up wearing them instead of the huge mask. Highly recommended if you are doing house work with lots of dust.

I live in Florida and am building a hurricane prep kit. I purchased the masks based on:1. Recommendation that such masks be kept for post emergencies such as hurricanes.2. The prior reviews posted.3. The price was very reasonable4. Test of a mask showed it was light, comfortable and to be honest, I hope I never need it.

As a retired healthcare practitioner, it was required that I wear these masks to prevent the transmission of airborne pathogens. However, I discovered that it was excellent for cleaning patients as well :).Consequently, I realized that these masks were very handy and "effective" for general cleaning, while using disinfectant sprays and aerosols in general. Now I cannot say how effective these masks actually are for folk with beards and excess facial hair, but I personally have found them fully effective for my needs -- So I find a use for them daily and make sure that I never run-out of them!

The cost & 100 count make this extremely affordable. I purchased these to take to my mom’s house. She has been diagnosed with a serious lung disease. These will be helpful for anyone that visits that has a cold. Or if I need to take her to an urgent care or ERDuring flu season. And, all those family get togethers. I like to keep a couple in my purse for my airline flights.I don’t want to catch a cold before I visit my mom.

We needed these because my mom had a bad chest cold just before her mother had to have a surgery, and didn't want to risk any spread of infections to occur for obvious reasons. The only downside was that she said her face that was covered by the mask felt like a sauna, though I suppose that also shows that the lack of air-flow kept any germs (for lack of a better word) from getting out and getting to anyone else who was otherwise immuno-compromised. Definitely worth it if you have to be in public while sick (or if you know you'll be around sick people yourself), just make sure you're prepared for an extra warm/sweaty face.

Great quality for the price, really upset they went UNAVAILABLE right after I bought them. I use them when I am cleaning as I have severe allergies to dust and pet hair and they are just perfect. Not so heavy I feel like I'm being smothered, but effective at keeping my airway free from exposure to the particles that would trigger an allergic reaction or asthma attack.
