There s a new student at Super Hero High in DC Super Hero Girls: Spaced Out, and she s about to take some of her new friends on an out-of-this-world mission! Earth's new Green Lantern, Jessica Cruz, learns that she must report to Oa and introduce herself to the Green Lantern Corps--as if learning new powers and being the new girl at Super Hero High weren't enough! Luckily, some of her new friends are willing to accompany Jessica. But when they arrive, instead of the Green Lantern Corps they find General Zod, Faora and Non. While the spacefaring girls take on this intergalactic threat, the Earthbound students are faced with their own challenge--pet-sitting Krypto! It's Kryptonian chaos across the universe! DC Super Hero Girls: Spaced Out continues to develop the relationships forged throughout the beloved DC Super Hero Girls series. Written by Shea Fontana, this story is perfect for ages 6-10. Review: Captivating to a non-reader - My 10-yr old enjoys the show on telly, and I thought I'd take a chance on getting these books. She is not a good reader, never has been despite ALL the efforts from us as parents and her teachers. today, she put her iPad down on her OWN initiative, and started reading these books. At the end of the day, she requested for more. We are talking a miracle here. I never thought I'd ever hear those words requesting "more of these books, please". Thank you authors, thank you desertcart. Review: The Original DC Superhero Girls were Awesome! - You are probably aware that the DC Superhero Girls franchise has been rebooted, this is one of the final volumes from the original (better) run. I really enjoyed it and it makes me sad that there are not going to be any further volumes for this version. If you have bought the other volumes in this series I would recommend getting this one, if you're a fan of the Green Lantern Corps then this is a must buy!
