Totally Stripped is a newly-revised version of the documentary that was originally made to coincide with the release of The Rolling Stones Stripped album released in November 1995. It tells the story of the two studio sessions and three live shows that made up the Stripped project. This followed the conclusion of the mammoth Voodoo Lounge tour and found The Stones reimagining tracks from their back catalogue in pared back versions alongside a couple of carefully chosen covers in the studio and doing smaller scale club gigs to showcase these versions, which was a marked contrast to the huge arenas and stadiums that had hosted the Voodoo Lounge tour. This new version of the documentary includes previously unseen footage and lays bare the inner workings of both The Rolling Stones and of some of their best loved tracks. Revealing, intimate and moving, Totally Stripped is unmissable.CD TRACKLISTING1) Not Fade Away Amsterdam 26/5/95 2) Honky Tonk Women Paris 3/7/95 3) Dead Flowers Amsterdam 4) Faraway Eyes London 19/7/95 5) Shine A Light Amsterdam 6) I Go Wild Paris 7) Miss You London 8) Like A Rolling Stone Amsterdam 9) Brown Sugar Paris 10) Midnight Rambler London 11) Jumpin Jack Flash Paris 12) Gimme Shelter Amsterdam 13) Rip This Joint Amsterdam 14) Street Fighting Man - Amsterdam

Absolutely brilliant!
This brings back memories, I can remember buying the voodoo lounge album the week it came out then seeing the stones at Wembley that summer 1995. I remember the announcement that they were playing the smaller venue Brixton academy, and trying to get tickets but failing! Then the album "Stripped" came out with the stones doing some rare and forgotten songs from their back catalogue, which I still have on my cd shelf! I also still have the original Stripped film which was first shown on tv around this time, although it was only about an hour in length I recorded it on to vhs tape and then many years later transferred it to dvd disc by which time the tape was worn out! So it was nice to buy this Stripped package with the full length film on dvd, and in excellent quality showing some great film of the stones in the studio and on stage as well as being interviewed. The cd is also brilliant with some highlights from the smaller venue gigs and songs that were not on the original cd. This is a must buy for any stones fan.

Sit back and listen
Absolutely incredible, such a finely crafted body of work .Every track is a gem , fantastic harp playing by Jagger and masterly guitar weaving, held very skillfully together with Charlie's backbeat. This is one of the best pieces of musical history ever made .

Totally the Stones
Nice to see the Stones playing for a smaller audience in different places. This is a kind of documentary, not a concert film. The picture and sound quality is not the best. Picture is in the 4:3 ration.
