Works Great for Mountain Biking
This is perfect for recording POV mountain biking videos. There is a bit of a learning curve using it though. Since most people lean forward while mountain biking, the holder needs to be angled upwards to capture the ideal field of view. At first try it appears the holder will not angle high enough; however, make sure you're not trying to set the angle without your phone in the clamp. When the phone clamp is all the way closed it obstructs the angle of the holder from going as high as it otherwise could go. I have found I can get the angle more than high enough for optimal mountain bike video. The other issue (as often reported) is that the angle does not hold in place while hitting bumps due to the weight of the phone. I also experienced this. No matter how much I tried to tighten the screw arm, it would eventually start to drop while I was riding. You simply can't get it tight enough by hand. I used a pair of pliers to tighten it more than I could have by hand. It never moves now. You can tighten it way more than you probably think without breaking it.Some have also complained that it does not hold the phone tight enough. I did not experience this. There is one thing you can do to 100% ensure the clamp is tight enough. After putting your phone in the clamp, use your hand to squeeze the clamp tighter around your phone while you lock the clamp using the dial. This compresses the rubber more and locks the clamp in a tighter setting around the phone than would happen naturally using only the force of the spring. I guarantee you that phone isn't going anywhere. I doubt you could pull it out even if you tried (without loosening the clamp dial). The holder is comfortable to wear with the provided straps. I wore it for a 2+ hour mountain bike ride and at times forgot it was there. When the straps are tightened appropriately they do a great job of preventing the holder from excessively bouncing when hitting bumps (which would negatively impact video quality). There is minor assembly required upon receiving the product. There are no assembly instructions provided. You have to slide the phone holder into a slot on the chest plate. You have to slide it into place with the pieces parallel; trying to vertically jab the pieces together will accomplish nothing. You will notice the bottom of the phone holder piece has two plastics tabs that compress inward as it slides into the slot on the chest plate. Once it has slid to the point where the slot on the chest plate opens up, the plastic tabs decompress and lock the pieces together. I initially installed the piece upside down, so I had to remove and reinstall. When removing it, you need to pinch those two plastic tabs together as you slide it back out. If you don't pinch the plastic tabs together while trying to slide the piece back out, you'll never get it out.

Great Alternative to People without GoPros!
While I have read peoples negative reviews on this product and for the most part I can agree. It will fall down during heavy activities and the screw a little less substantial than you would like for a heavy device such as a phone. I response to those criticisms there is a way to make this work without purchasing any additional products (also mine came with the phone attachment so i had no issues there). Once you receive the mount it will be in 3 different pieces, attach the phone holder to the mount with the screw. Instead of putting this proper way, push it in upside down, this will allow the phone to stay steady without much of a stress on the screw and ultimately work the same way. There will be hump in learning how to start recording you’ll have to get over, but its not a large one. Besides this, the product seems very strong and i dont see any issues, Ps the spinning lock for your phone does seem like it wont stay put with heavy use but the can probably but fixed with a rubber band or two to keep it in place before it becomes a issue.

Works! But there are probably better.
First off I’d like to say that the item is fine. It works well and if you are using it to make some sort of video or first person recording it’s fine you would probably be satisfied but the heavier your phone the clunkier it will be. With the IPhone 11 (the larger one) there was shaking in the video but that’s if you’re to walk around a lot or run. Also the fit was quite uncomfortable as the camera end would tug on the strap. Lastly the mount is odd where it works but also contributes to the shaking. All in all if you are looking for a quick fix sure this is pretty good but for professional stuff or even higher quality videos I would recommend you find something else.

Thing is cheaply made
The clamp on this thing is spring loaded with a flimsy screw lock. It doesn't lock onto your phone great at all and I wouldn't trust it holding my phone doing anything. Also, the locking mechanism used to, "lock" the phone at a particular angle has a horrible bite when you screw it down. This is because the pieces it screws together to lock the angle is pressing hard smooth plastic against hard smooth plastic causing both surfaces to slide no matter how tight you tighten it. I've actually tightened it so tight I was afraid of breaking it so you can't say I'm, "not tightening it hard enough". I even slid some rubber washers between the surfaces to try to give it more bite but it still slides all over the place. With all of that being said I do like the chest straps. They fit well on me.What I finally ended up doing is disconnecting and throwing away all of the phone mounting mechanisms used to mound the phone to the chest strap because it is all flimsy cheaply made crap. What worked for me using this product was using an arm band strap that came with a Gekobrand water proof phone case/pouch I had and using that to strap my phone to the plastic in the center. By doing that it securely locks the phone to my chest and I don't have any doubts of it falling outIn all, this thing is cheaply made. I don't think it is worth the price they ask. I had to do waaay to many modifications and tests to it to make it work. With all of the crap they give you a strap worked best for me.Hope this helps!

Works as expected. Nice and sturdy.
Used it just a few hours ago. The straps are thick and sturdy as are the clips as well. Because they are thick straps it can get a little warm if you are doing any exercise or out in the hot sun. But it holds my camera well and is easy to get the camera in and out. The only thing I don't like about it is that I cant see exactly where the camera is pointing because the screen is either facing away from you or is covered by the thing that holds it. But that's just the way anything like this is going to be. For the price it's great.
