Product Description Casillero Del Diablo malbec Chile has intense and deep ruby red colour. Delicious aromas of black fruit such as berries, plums and cherries, followed by pepper and subtle touches of vanilla and black chocolate. All very well balanced. It goes perfectly with all types of barbecues, ripe cheeses and sweet and-sour sauces. Stews and herbs are another partner for this wine. It won silver medals for Vintage 2014 in International Wine and Spirits Competition, October 2015, for Vintage 2012 in Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Belgium, May 2014 and Korea Wine Challenge, Korea, June 2013. It contains 13.5% alcohol by volume. Again False Advertising on % and Year of wine.
This wine is advertised in the Specific Question box and also in Morrisons direct advert as 13.5%. It is 12.5%. It also states in both the Product Information and the Specific Question box the year is 2013. While I didn't expect 2013 to have been updated, I had hoped for a Malbec of at least 3-4 years that I can get locally for similar price (or for about £1.50-£2 less at Tesco with my clubcard. This one is 2023 rather young for a Malbec. As this has been happening repeatedly with various wines over many months, I am giving up and will buy locally where I can enjoy reading true information before I buy.
