Nflightcam Helicopter to General Aviation (Twin-Plug) Adapter

This worked great for my headset. If you have a general aviation helicopter headset, it will work. If you have a military helicopter headset, spend the extra money and get the adapter that will work with both. I bought this to work with the lightspeed Zulu 2 headset and it worked great!

Works as advertised. My David Clarks H10-13 H headset works perfectly in GA airplanes now. It's not perfect. There is a little bit of feedback and everything sounds muffled, but they do work. I'll still probably use my ASA headset since it is already GA. I primarily bought this so I could let passengers use my helicopter headsets. Much cheaper than buying new headsets.

I bought this to use my Bose A20 headset. Unfortunately this adapter does not work for the microphone. I could hear my flight instructor but he could not hear me due to the microphone not working with this adapter. We tried using different ports with no luck. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with this product. I do not recommend this adapter to anyone who is trying to convert their military headsets to GA.

It worked for ~10 flights over about a month, but now cuts in and out, which made the flight with issues dangerous. I definitely wouldn't recommend this one.

just going to guess that both of them have MILITARY headsets and that would mean that the impedance is different in the radios and headsets from what GA uses this would explain why they didn't work

I use a Bose A20 with a U-174 plug for an R-44 helicopter and since buying this adapter, I have had no problems going between GA aircraft of fixed-wing and rotorcraft.

Worked just fine. Now I need new headset so I maybe buying GA and I’ll need a converter to helicopter.

Works great with my David Clark 650. I think other posts claiming mic doesn't work were using military headsets with built in impedence. As the product states, it will not work with those.
