Excellent product
Easy assembly, works great. I have had multiple deer and some big hogs on this hoist, including a 275 pound hog. Works as it should.

Viking Deer Hoist
The product worked great and as advertised. Hook to any tree. It is sturdy. I have used this about 4 times and has been a life saver for me to avoid log drags. I'm getting older and cant make those drags with a big buck any more. So, I just go to the kill site, break the deer down, and pack out with a friend. Easy.

Easy assembly
Bought this to hang deer and based on reviews I decided to try it. Haven't hung a deer yet but got it together and mounted to a tree. I'm short and mounting wasn't as easy for me as probably most average size men. I'm only 5'7" and I don't think I got it to a level that would get the deers head up off the ground. I haven't tried where I mounted it yet though. I struggled holding the thing up and getting the chain hooked. Will no more next season when I kill and have to hang one. Would recommend for younger and strong individuals would work fine.

Big help
It has been a big help to me [old]. Mounted to a tree in the yard here on the farm before deer season. Had help putting it up. Its long cable worked as a drag when I needed it. Hung two deer already during archery season and more seasons to come. Will take down once all the seasons end until next time. Ja, I do have a towel hanging on my gambrel.

Very good quality

A couple of things I did not use it for hunting nothing was the products fault.
I wanted it for a balcony lift. Because of physics it was too heavy for beam. I used it at an angle and just like a fishing rod the wire resisted coming back on the feel evenly. Also my placement of it may be easy for those woth good upper body strength it was too heavy for me to lift upward and out due to placement. Now this was experimental use. The product is good for possession appropriate lifting. I will use it on camping 🏕 event and can two person it with family. And loan to friend for lifting in mechanic use at a shop.
