Help me understand this. I bought it mostly to be able to stream from my Macbook over to my LG TV. It's annoying that it comes with a mini-USB port with no option to just charge it using my Macbook's USB-C cable but ok, I understand it's supposedly because of charging external batteries (still don't see why it can't include both options - unless you have an extra long mini-USB cable you need to use the one included which is a foot long and requires you to be up against a wall to use). Thing is, it won't handle both being plugged in for power and HDMI to my TV. It can either be charging or connected to HDMI, but not both at once. It's not like it's charging my TV. So, it's worthless for my purposes.

I have used this USB-C Hub for everything I have, and only one thing didn't work:- Mouse? Works!- Thumb drive? Works!- Seagate 1TB Backup drive? Works!- SIM? Works!- HDMI to a TV? Works!- Apple SuperDrive? Does not work :-((The SuperDrive wants to be plugged directly into the computer.I had to get a separate USB-3-to-USB-C adapter for that.)I am very happy with this Hub.

When I received my new MacBook Pro I had no idea how to handle a laptop with only the new USB -c ports. What to do about using my other devices with only the old USB connectors? This hub solved the problem. With 6 USB ports and 1 HDMI port it can take care of my needs. In addition it is elegantly designed, not klunky like the usual adapters.

I recently dropped my MacBook on its side with my Logitech use dongle still inserted. This caused my USB port to become angles and inconsistent with charging/connectivity. Since I didn't use the c port for anything, I looked into getting one of these.It's nice that it has USB 2(2) +3(1) ports. I can plug in my wireless keyboard and mouse into the first two, and my flash drive into the 3.0 port, which makes transportation of all the dongles much easier.The casing is made some sort of rigid plastic so it doesn't appear too vulnerable to crushing. There is a layer of silver paint on the outside, which looks like it might start to chip maybe after several months of use, but for now looks quite nice. The cable on this unit is fairly rigid as well, it's designed to protrude outwards from your USB-c port for about 4-5 inches.

USB ports work but the HDMI does not produce any picture - Windows 10 cannot detect that a second monitor is connected. Using an HP Pavilion laptop HP15-cc183cl. Innomax vendor support? Google cannot find them.

I purchased this device for use with my 2017 iMac. I was not disappointed. It shipped quickly and I was very pleased when I opened the package. It is of very nice quality and comes complete with all you need. It is especially nice that a power adapter cable is included as well. The SD Card Reader works perfectly and really enhances the use of the iMac (where the SD Card Reader is in the BACK). Having 6 USB 3 ports is nice and they work perfectly. I haven't used the HDMI output yet, but will use it soon for a second monitor. All in all, this is a fantastic unit that I highly recommend.

I thought this would be great bc I have the MacBook Pro, with Thunderbolt ports. But after about 3 months, my external hard drives were randomly being ejected. For MONTHS I thought I was doing something wrong. Finally about 6 months later, I closely examined the device and found the rubber had cracked and the wires were visible. I'm guessing there is a short or something, but I can't use this and I bought it about 3 months before it stopped working right. Now it's 10 months since I bought it, am finally posting this review, and wish, even if I cannot get a refund, at least an exchange.

I originally bought this for my boyfriend to use. He said he loves it and is very happy with it except that the USB-C port on the item didn't work. Luckily on his laptop he has an extra one already so it's not really a big deal. But if he's happy I'm happy!
