Tablet Adapter for DJI Osmo, Small 7-8"

I bought this to use an Ipad mini 4 to view when I am filming. This works fine, but it's not ideal. First, it goes over the top of the regular holder. Why has someone not manufactured a new threaded extension to allow for tablets that works exactly like the cell phone attachment? This is a failure on DJI...But, this product works as advertised. It is a little tricky sometimes to get the tablet in place, mostly because you still have to extend the original cell phone adapter a little, then wrap this extension around the corner of your tablet. Again, it works, it's just not ideal.Also, this can limit the mobility of the Osmo camera. I have to make sure to have my camera turned all the way to my right when I want to pan shots to my left, because the tablet will either be in the shot on the left, or the camera will hit the tablet and not allow the gimbal to move any more in that direction. This can be worked around by either adjusting the gimbal when you start the shot, or changing the angle of the tablet.Works as advertised, and unfortunately, it's really your only option if you want to use a tablet as a viewfinder for your osmo.

Well made, indispensable for holding my iPad mini for my Cosmo... gave it 3 stars because for what it is it is expensive... but as there is nothing else out there that can substitute - I guess they have the market all to themselves and can charge whatever they like... I do appreciate however the product...

It works but isn't anything fancy. Appears to be a 3D printed product, and a tad pricey in my opinion.
