Very helpful for my recovery with achilles tendinitis surgery. I wish there was a way to buy a replacement pack so that one could be icing and one could be in freezer in order to swap out more quickly. The seam of my ankle wrap split after a couple of months and gel is leaking out. I had to put it in a plastic bag. I will see if I can get a replacement. There is a lifetime warrantee it says. The black material wrap is well made and comfortable. Great product, pricey, but works well.

Got this in the mail a couple of days back and using since then. I don't have a serious ankle injury, just using it as a preventive for a mild ankle strain. The package came with three items, the ice-pack with the gel inside, the ankle brace and a freezer zip-lock bag to store the ice-pack. The ankle brace is quite comfortable to put on. It has two sleeve compartments, so I had to take some time to figure out which sleeve the ice-pack would go on, FYI I felt it more comfortable on the side which is away from your leg to avoid frostbite. The brace has two straps, one to hold it on your ankle and one to hold it up against your leg. Both the straps are quite long and should be good enough for anyone, so even if you have a swollen ankle. it should work. Overall, looks like a great buy !

Love the ice pack and shape, although it could be a tad bigger. I am a woman size 9 and I would’ve liked it to cover a little bit more around my ankle . After putting ice pack in the freezer it comes out nice & cold but still easily is ready to mold to your foot which is awesome and something you can’t always achieve with a bag of frozen peas. However, the sleeve it fits into she could be sewn better. After having Achilles tendon surgery and having to ice my foot three times or more a day, I find that the seams are already coming loose and I’m going to have to re-see it after taking the ice pack in and out so many times in the last two months. The Velcro bands themselves however are great and the design is very smart. If you read the directions, you will find the best way to wrap your ankle depending on your injury and I’m glad I read it because I didn’t wrap my ankle up correctly the first time. Overall great for getting the job done and the swelling down. The ice pack is very durable and hasn’t leaked at all.

The versatility of this hot/cold compression wrap makes it very worthwhile. Last year I got plantar fasciitis and bought a compression wrap specifically for icing the foot. A few weeks ago a bunch of people fell down in front of me during a race I was running and I ended up turning my ankle. Shortly thereafter, I needed a compression wrap for my ankle.The Thermopeutic compression wrap will work for both types of injuries and you NEVER know when a mishap will occur. I have used it a few times since I received it and it works well and definitely much better than using ice bags. If you are a runner, this is a must have. The materials and construction look solid but I haven't used it that long to determine the durability. My only wish would be that they would sell the ice bag inserts separately. After a race I like to ice for 20 minutes, take the ice off for 20 minutes and then ice another 20 minutes (3 reps). It takes a good hour for the ice bags to re-freeze adequately, thus the need for an extra ice bag insert. Still 5 stars. Buy this thing; after all it is Amazon that provides the fulfillment.

I really wanted to like this cold pack more. It is OK, but has some pros and cons.PROS:Cold enough.Stays cold for long time. I could ice one foot and then the other for 15 minutes each and the pack was still cold.Thickness of cold pack itself is good but could be a bit thicker, but that might make it even bulkier and harder to put on.Velcro on straps is great, but almost too sticky making it hard to wrap.Seems to help my Plantar Fasciitis a little but it could be better.Once you put it on, it stays put.CONS:Too bulky and hard to put on and wrap around the foot. You have to be a contortionist to put this on.Poorly designed for Plantar Fasciitis. It helps but design could be better to get the coldness to this condition. It needs to be on the bottom of the foot, the heel, and the back of the heel (achilles tendon).Top of my foot gets really cold which is not what this is advertised for.Design of this product is trying to solve several issues instead of focusing on one issue per product. If they do that, each product has the potential for five star products.I will stick with it for a while and hopefully get better at putting it on.

I have a lot of foot pain and icing always helps. But it was alway hard to do well until I tried this ice pack. I love the size which covers the entire foot. The compression also feels great. The whole pack stays in place and delivers great icing to my painful foot.

Reviewing this product on behalf of my SO. He sprained his ankle pretty severely and we've been icing it with various ice packs for the past two weeks. This product is great because it's one of the few that is able to reach all the right spots due to it's versatility. It comes with instructions for using it two different ways--one that covers more of the ankle and one that covers more of the foot. It also has two pockets to place the ice pack in--one that allows super coldness and one with more insulation. It freezes very cold, but still stays flexible. His only complaint is that it's rather heavy, so sometimes it ends up pulling his foot down which causes pain on the sprain.

I sprained my foot and couldn't walk on it. This ice pak fit great around your leg and foot and felt wonderful! Really nice product, easy to use, and has a life long guarantee. Well designed!
