Great product
I no longer buy new fishing pole now with this product I go to pawn shops and buy damaged fishing pole for a fraction of the price it would cost at a fishing store and repair it.

Perfect gift!
My boyfriend recently took a few rod building classes, and it quickly became his new obsession. I got this for him as a gift, and he started using it the first night. Everything works great, and he loves it! However, he suggests that it’s better to take a class on rod building, then get this to start.

Great set
I just started to build my own custom rods. This kit has everything you need to get started. I watched the rod building 101 videos on the Mudhole Website and off I went. They are a good company and have a lot of resources to help you.

This is now my new hobby.
Bought this to repair a few old rods. Works fine and makes me want to build a custom rod from scratch now. Was paid for itself already after repairing 4 of my saltwater rods. Very glad I bought this kit.

If you are trying to get into rod building this kit is your best move. Rod building can be a bit of a challenge in the beginning but this kit will help you . Definitely go with this and not the cheaper quality kits

Poor Quality
This is good for a beginner but the quality all around is cheap China, not even close for use if you're a professional. Not worth the price.
