What can I say ... The name pilot is enough to justify it's quality. Knowingly bought the small con-40 converter as I love to write with different ink. It holds small quantity of ink. Came in an original pilot packaging.

The reviewers that say this converter cannot be fully filled are wrong. You should patiently full it up and remove the air while the pen is upside down then fill it up and you should have a full fill. Good ink flow, feels a bit cheap for the price I paid. I like the design.

If you are looking to upgrade from the basic black squeeze converter that comes stock with the Pilot Metropolitan, the Pilot CON-40 is an absolute must-have.I purchased this from the seller UnboxJapan. It arrived in the original domestic Japanese retail packaging (with Japanese text and the plastic recycling symbol). There is no printed MRP on the plastic sleeve because it is a direct import from Japan, but rest assured, it is 100% genuine. The barcode (4902505515330) is the official global code registered to Pilot Japan.If you read reviews online, you’ll see a lot of people crying that the CON-40 only fills up halfway, leaving a massive, annoying air bubble. Don't listen to them. They just haven't unlocked the forbidden fountain pen wizardry yet. 😉Finally, I don't need psychic powers to know my ink level. (Looking at you, stock squeeze converter!)

Nice sturdy tranparent converter
Initially, ink sucked by converter was very less. Then, learnt how to use through you tube vedios. Now , the converter is working very well.

How to fill it
It is really hard to fill it without getting ink on your hands. Can't fill dirctly from the bottel. Using an injection syringe is the best way to fill it.
