Universal 1/2" U-Bolt Clamps (2 Pack)

Exactly what I needed.

These U bolts fit perfect on a 1/2 inch axle rod or half-inch bolts. They are 1-1/2 inches long, they have 1/2”of bolt left after tightening. They are 1/4 inch in diameter ; metal with a bronze finish. have no idea what grade of metal they are but they should work well for carts, wagons, hand trucks or anything else.I gave it four stars as it is probably pot metal, has no grade markings, I would not use for any type of stressful conditions. Has 2 stamping marks, 1/2” & Taiwan.

Clamps well to a 1/2 inch rod and still give you a flat surface to attach whatever. 7/16 inch socket fits the nut. I wanted to put a jack stand under the bottom of the frame rail on my John Deere lawn tractor so I could change the tire. This clamp gave me a nearby point I could put the jack under.

Handy u-bolts has many uses.
