I am very very pleased and happy with my new juicer
I am very very pleased and happy with my new juicer. This is my second and it gets better each time. It is quiet and can juice medium sized produce whole. This is what I was looking for hated cutting up every fruit and vegetable. Although you can place some parts in the dishwasher I haven't it is so easy to just clean with your hands, soap and medium temperature hot water. Having the blender is a plus for some produce can't be juiced and should be blended just pour them in and go. The ease of the plunger is fabulous. I was so pleased with my first juice from it I couldn't believe how easy it was. This juicer is a bit different requires a different touch that the instructions that are included will teach you. It is not difficult at all. A note if there is too much pulp in the centrifuge basket then it will get loud because it is uneven. Just remove the pulp and juice away. It will cut off if it senses overheating the motor another safety feature besides not having the metal handle in place. The pulp in the receiver bin is dry for me this was great and let me know that all the juice was extracted out of the produce. I would recommend putting a bag in the receiver bin easier for cleaning and use the pulp in a recipe if you like. If you are starting to juice this is a GREAT juicer, even if you have been juicing for awhile still, this is the one to have in you juicing arsenal.

fun to use
Its a nice machine, and it certainly is pretty to see the juice as you make it. That's worth something as an appetizer. I have a an old green power, which produces a wonderful energy in the juice due to the magnets, but requires so much pushing I never use it. In the end a juicer is only good if you use it. I have another juicer that is single auger which requires no pushing.. it grabs the food chunks and takes them in to grind them. I have to cut up the food smaller. I bought this one because you can put bigger chunks in it. This one is not one where you can load in an entire group of whole fruit and veggies and give it one push... as I had hoped. This one you can only put in a few chunks at a time, and you do have to cut them in certain ways so they don't get stuck. In the end I think this juicer is pretty, and fun, but not as good as my much more expensive single auger juicer. The Single auger one is actually faster because it pulls the food in while I chop. Even though i have to chop more, it is actually a faster process. I did a test and this juicer and the single auger juicer I have produced the same amount of wet pulp. Cleanup was about the same. So, for reasons of speed of making the juice I would recommend the Single auger (like by Omega though mine is from a company that makes machines for Omega as I understand it.. its the same machine as one of the Omegas.) That said, that will cost you hundreds of dollars. If you are only going to spend $100, then this one is good one. I can't tell you if there are better... I see other reviews post ones that produce a drier pulp and are cheaper. I can tell you that this one is inspiring to use so it make is more fun. Which makes me juice more often.

Worst juicer I've ever used
Before purchasing this, I had been using a Jack LaLaine juicer for 3 years. I juice 2x a day, everyday. Loved my juicer. But, I felt it was getting old and producing a bit less juice than it had. So I opt to give my money to Jason Vale whom I'm a huge fan of.However- it is 1/2 the size of the Lalanne and nearly everything that could go wrong or be cheaply put together; was.The strainer and blade are attached. This means it's near impossible to clean. And no, you dont get a brush. They are also TOO SMALL! This means you a not actually juice anything. Maybe 2 apples and a handful of spinach and it's all clogged. The garbage bin is also too small and oddly shaped. If you want to put a garbage bag in there, good luck. It's too small for that without clogging up the machine. If the garbage bin isn't perfectly in place the machine will not start. Also, after a a few items like 2 apples and a cucumber- you have to shut it off and smash the pulp down lest it get stuck in the strainer. But don't worry! Because more than likely, you won't be able to GET anything down the shoot anyway. The motor is weak. The juice you get is about 1/2 of what my cheap Jack LaLane gave me. Half! (?)The juice is also kinda grainy and doesn't taste right compared to what I'm used to from MY juicer or any juicing bar.Cleaning it is a nightmare and I spent all last week cursing under my breath as I scrubbed the strainer.I love Jason Vale, I am a life time juicer and advocate. But THIS thing? It is GARBAGE!Do not buy it. Just don't.There is nothing about that thing I would want.I wouldn't want it if it was free. And honestly, you'd have to pay me a decent wage to make me use it.Absolute piece of junk. I am shocked and disappointed at Jason Vale.HOW he can put his name on that befuddles me at the very least. Will absolutely be returning.Do NOT waste your time, money or sanity. It's a cheap piece of junk.

Don't buy it!
Didn't like this that much. It doesn't juice green items to well. You would do better with another product.

cleanup is a hassle
The juicer worked well, but I didn't enjoy the amount of cleanup required after each use. i did the 7 day plan, but I'm not sure if I can stay motivated to continue. Too bad as I did find the program beneficial.
