amby Women's Rib Knit Sweater Boot

These boots do not look like the picture, they look like a cheap version of them, the sweater material does not drape over the shoe at all. I wish I would have spent more on a nicer pair of shoes

These are nice boots for the price. I was hesitant to order as I saw some not so great reviews, but for $22 I figured it was worth a shot. I had to order a size 9 as these do not come in half sizes, and I wear an 8 1/2 wide. 9 is a tad bit large for me (remember I am an 8 1/2), but these definitely run true to size, widith wise these are just perfect! They do not hurt my feet or squeeze them, even with heavy socks on, which is an issue I usually run into when purchasing boots as my feet are wide. These are VERY comfortable, warm, cute and they don't slouch down my ankle as another poster said, but I will note that I do have a wide calf as well. I bought a pair in brown and black. I will most definitely be purchasing these in other colors as well :) They are not waterproof, so I bought some boot waterproofing spray and gave them a good once over. I am really happy with my purchase, I would have given a 5 start rating if they came in half sizes.

I generally leave very positive reviews, but when something arrives that looks NOTHING like it does in the photo (I mean, you can tell that it's a totally different product pictured), I feel the need to make sure future buyers are aware. These boots are VERY stiff, and actually slide off my heels as I walk. It feels like I'm walking on cardboard. They feel very cheap on my feet, and for almost $50, they're definitely not worth it. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they're wide around the top, so if you have large calves, they will likely fit, even with jeans, and because they're so stiff, you won't have an issue with them falling down. To see an accurate photo of them, look at Sara H.'s review from October 14, 2014. She apparently received the same product I did. No bueno.

My first impression was "Is this a slipper?!". The area of the toe and heel caves in and is SO flimsy. I can definitely confirm what many 1 star reviews say about getting a hole or falling apart. It's thin and very cheap. You would freeze. There is no structure to this boot to make it stay on. Like the one review said, as I walked my heel came out of the shoe. Even though it is the right size and not too large I could barely keep them on. I could kick them off. The sweater part is SO loose. You could pay the same or less and get better quality boots at JCP. I tried on a few in store and plan on going back to get a pair. Maybe this shoe might work if you need a wide width or find boots too snug in the calf. However the quality is bad.

The boots came in the mail and does not look like the picture. Very disappointed.

Some people posted that the boots ran small. I'm a size 7 so I ordered a size 8 but that was super huge on me. Also, they weren't like the picture! That ticked me off more than the fact that they didn't fit me. The sweater part DID NOT cover the heel of the boot. It went as far down as the ankle part. The inside was comfy but the outside material definately wasn't high quality. It was thin and totally wouldn't keep your feet warm in the dead of winter. I'm jealous of the people who got the actual boots in the picture.

I love the style of these boots, but the main annoying thing as someone else stated, is the heel slippage up into the boot shaft. Never have I experienced such a thing with boots.... to not be confused, let me state that from toe to heel, if fits perfect... wouldn't want them bigger or smaller, but the backing of the boot itself, above the heel, fails to hold the back of the foot/the heel securely and my heel slips up into the boot shaft every single step. There is a lining on the shoe sole, sort of like a shearling texture, but it does feel thin and like it is pinned on concrete. It is stiff with no movement and no breaking-in will change that. Still cute, just clunky and slips around when walking, so I won't be wearing them for any day-long adventures.

These boots arrived looking just like the picture, so I was really pleased. The grey is a nice medium - just as described. The quality is fine for the cost. Those requiring a really sturdy boot should invest more money and get another brand. They fit well - but ideally I'd like a little more room in the toe. They are perfect for casual wear.To make up for lack of arch support, I use either Super Feet insoles (I got them at REI and they are fabulous; just the right amount of support without taking too much room in the shoe) - or I use Dr. Scholl's inserts that you can get at CVS or another drug store. This is the type that is custom designed using the machine in the store. Not all store carry them, so check first. For the money, these boots are really great.

These came fitting and looking as expected but it only took a week for them to smell horrible. I don’t have bad foot odor what so ever but the fabric just holds smell.

Button fell off of one boot after one wear. However, they are really comfy and cute! Definitely wear for style, not warmth.

Crap and not worth buying. Cheap material. The photo's must be proffesionally done to make these look great. Do not waste your money. If i could leave a no star i would.

More like a slipper than a boot. Price is a little high for a slipper.

Much taller than I anticipated but I was pleasantly surprised by that. Very soft interior and stylish exterior.

Wore these for 5 days and the bottoms ripped off.

Had them less then a month and they split the seem in the back of the boot

They are very cute! That’s about it ! Button already fell off at 2 weeks old, very uncomfortable to actually where outside as real shoes... no padding , no support
