Not sure but it is very sturdy. Have no trouble stirring 6 gallons of wort with it.

Would this be good for mixing Gatorade in the sports cooler???

I mean... If the Gatorade needs to be mixed in a huge 24+ quart cooler- then absolutely. It feels like using a witch’s spoon to mix inside cauldron. Lol! It really is perfect.

is the spoon part big enough for serving stew or soup?

it depends on how you define big enough; my wife use a laddle for serving soup or stew, so we only use the spoon for stiring.

Light weight but super durable. Does not bend at all. We like to make large vates of Chili or soup, so this is perfect for campfire cooking and large stock pots. Love it!
