Excellent book -easy to read especially when you’re in need of some direction in life to let go of past issues and want to discover a new or different path to find your peace. Wish they’d make it a mandatory high school read.

I wish to do a qucik comparison of the two!! I find this book very, very useful. I have many books on spirituality & yoga, but most of them are convoluded! The message is very cryptic and subject to much interpretation as with Swami rama. This book is well written, paramhansa has an excellent command of the english language, very profound, very clear and articulate. Swami rama books are often disjunctive and too advanced for the beginner! Every sentence in Rama's book is cryptic and is not at all introductory. I got more out of this book than the 40 other books I have from different people. Must read this book!! This is a journey, you really feel connected to the author.

What a Gem of a series. Love his old talks. Such spectacular ✨️ wisdom in layman's terms. Bravo!

I felt the consciousness expansion as I read it, this is the book with healing power in it.

This book, and the other two volumes in the series,are full of knowledge about God and our purpose for being in this world. Even though these books are based on talks given by Master Yogananda in the early 1900s, they are still relevant today. Paramahansa Yogananda gives us useful information about how to live our lives so that we can experience God first hand and how to find happiness. It doesn't matter what religious/spiritual path you follow. You can gain much from reading this book. One of Master Yogananada's teachings is that all religions are seeking the same truth.

The item was shipped within 24 hours and received as promised. I do not know the condition of the book as it was a gift to a friend. I wish they had mentioned the mode of shipment at the time of the order. I was expecting it to be UPS ground giving me the ability to track it on line. However, it was shipped USPS - which does not have tracking capability. Both me and my friend (who was scheduled to leave for an overseas trip) had some tense days until the book arrived.

So much information was eye-opening, especially in the first quarter of the book in which I had many highlights. Great information about willpower, prayer, mindset, and more. This should be read as a companion book to Autobiography of a Yogi, once you've read that a few times, go to this book for more practical information.

This one volume contains so much wisdom - I tried reading Autobiography of a Yogi, but it didn’t draw me in. This book, I couldn’t put down and I will re-read many times. Soulful and delightful, I am getting the other volumes right now, for sure.

This is the second book I have read by Yogananda and it is deeply resonant with answers to the big questions of life. As one reader said, it drips with wisdom. The Gurus of the East have realized the spiritual truths for thousands of years, and now the materially fixated West is in dire need of these teachings as time runs out to save our beautiful Mother Earth, and all creatures who are equally entitled to live here.

Yogananda taught the love of wisdom and the wisdom of love. These are the only hope for our troubled world.
