Seidio Surface Combo for Samsung Galaxy S8 - Dark Red/Black

Ever since my HTC Evo, my phones needed to have a kickstand. I tried to upgrade my phone to one without it but something was always missing.I upgraded to the Note 2. I searched all over for a case with a kickstand. I found the Platinumn Touch series at Bestbuy (which is seido). It came with the clip that I thought I would never use but the size of the phone made it kinda hard to fit in your front pockets, especially with a bulky case. So I used the clip and never turned back. The way that the phone clips in is so intuitive and easy to use. It also feels super secure on it because it is not just snapping in, it has a clip that is spring loaded to secure the phone.3 phones later and 2 phones for my mother, I'm still using this case and clip. The thinness makes the phone feel like it doesn't have a case, but it is also very protected. I have dropped all of my phones numerous times and when I do that fear check to see if the screen is cracked, I'm always relived.I will always use this case and clip for all of my phones. Thin case, protects the phone and best clip design will always have me coming back and referring to my friends and family.

Understand that this is not competing with Life Proof or encapsulated Otter Box cases. The Seidio case and holster have served me well for several different Galaxy phones. The holster fits my FD duty belt, which is a hair wider than most dress belts. That in itself is worth every penny, as the phone stays clipped on securely.The screen faces the felt covered inside of the case when holstered so it is pretty safe. I'd recommend some type of glass protection as well, for a little extra protection. The phone case itself fits well and seems to do its job. I've dropped mine several times and the case held up. It got a few dings here and there, but the phone is untouched.

I love this case. I love it with my S8, I loved it with my S4, and I loved it with that POS i4. I only wish they made a version for my Z3, then I would be completely satisfied.It holds the phone, it fits it perfectly, it has a beveled edge to help protect the screen, and it very easily clips into my belt and is easily extracted. My last one functioned well in a daily business setting for 2.5 years before breaking down.

I have owned several of this brand and design through the last 4 cell phones. This design works best for me. I have tried other holster case combos from other manufacturers but this brand has worked best for me. It has a large enough clip to fit on a duty belt and rescue rigger's belt. Other brands of similar quality bind on these belts.

I was waiting for Seidio to come out with this for the Samsung Galaxy S8. I ended up buying something else as it wasn't available when I needed it. That product broke. I was happy to see that it was available now. Well designed. Works great.

I've used similar Seidio holsters and cases for my last three phones. This one is a little different in that it uses a soft inner holster that is pulled around the phone, then the harder two-part plastic cover snaps on. I never use the kickstand feature, but it is not obtrusive. I would not consider using anything other than Seidio.

Best case I have ever used. its thin and light and fits my phone perfectly. I didn't intend to use the belt clip but have found it very handy when flying on planes. I clip the holster to the seat pocket and it holds my phone as I listen to music. I find it helps protect the screen when I have a phone in my bag. I have tried 4 other holster cases and this one is by far the best. Stands up to drops and looks fantastic

Good dual layer case that doesn’t add a lot of bulk to the phone. Belt clip is sturdy and holds the phone well.
