The best battery operated eraser.
Of all the small battery erasers, this is the best (and most expensive). But it’s worth it. I paint small to medium sized paintings by airbrush and brush in acrylic, and the Sakura is the best. It works well for picking out highlights and when I’m painting a foreground to resemble gravel or stones, it allows me to create layers of color that vary in multiple hues and values. I just wish Sakura still made the blue eraser heads that work so well for erasing acrylic.

Great addition to tools for sketching
Really works well for doing human hair or for hair on animals. It takes a little getting used to it to be able to control the force. Once you are used to the power of it, it’s a dream.

Not the least expensive but it works
After reading a lot of reviews of various brands of electric erasers, the Sumo gets the best opinions--and after quickly setting it up (put eraser in holder, insert in end, put in 2 AAA batteries--included) I was off erasing colored pencil with no trouble at all.It seems rather "wussy" to use an electric eraser but it's specifically for charcoal, pencil and pastel--any erasable medium. The eraser is precise and removes most or all of the color depending on your medium. You can "draw" with it over a field of laid-down medium. Or remove mistakes very precisely.

Works as listed
Been using it a couple of times per week for over 5 months now. Works well, fast-precise erasing and I like it having replaceable standard batteries. I am still working with the batteries that came with it. No cords or transformers to mess with. No need to try and find the correct rechargeable battery when they go bad.

straightforward, a lot easier to use than a traditional eraser to fine line art
for artistic applications like penciling an outline for a final pen sketch, this eraser allows for a much finer level of precision than a manual eraser of the same size. no collateral erasure.recommended especially for manga or other smaller scale work. you can also use it for a lot of advanced techniques when working on larger, more formal graphite drawings; youtube those if that's your goal.

No funciona / It does not work
The media could not be loaded. Because of the kind of brand it is and the price, I should offer something better, maybe this one came defective I don't know but I was hesitant to buy this draft or choose the Derwent brand and in the end I chose this one but I'll buy the Derwent. I don't care about the price if what I pay for an item is expensive and the item is worth it but in this case it is not.

Cannot live without this thing.
Throws dust and CAN eat through erasers kinda quick, but reliably erases what others can't.

Confusing directions but finally works great
It’s easy to use. The most confusing thing was that I thought the device came with the metal eraser holder already inserted into the thing. Turned out you have to put the eraser (small rubber tube) into the metal holder tube and THEN put the metal tube which is now holding the eraser into the OTHER metal tube (which is part of and ONE with the device). It fits snugly and all is well. The directions aren’t well written and are confusing. But once you figure that out, it’s fine. It erases great.
