Not for heavy duty copying at all.
Requires software and a Windows computer.

16-port USB hub + poorly developed software = Not worth the price
I assumed I was paying $80 for a 16-port hub and $320 for a really nice software package. The software package leaves a LOT to be desired. If a drive fails it tells you the drive letter that failed. The problem is there's no way to know which of the 16 ports that particular drive letter is. If it had a flashing red light next to the failed drive or at least told you the physical port number that would make it usable, instead you're left to guess or maybe start pulling drives and watch in windows explorer for that letter to disappear. Another problem with the software is it's difficult to select files/folders that you want to copy. If you want to make USB drives that have 5 files and 5 folders, you have to start by selecting the files (not hard) but then you must select the folders one at a time. It's just not very user friendly. The actual file copy is fast so that's a plus. Also keep in mind that in order to use this product you must have 16 drive letters available, if you have a number of mapped network drives this may not be the case.

WARNING: NOT A DUPLICATOR!
This device (and the 1:10 made my Aleratec) are NOT Duplicators! They are just expensive USB hubs. It comes bundles w/ software that "automates" the process of duplicating a lot of drives but it is NO FASTER THEN DRAG AND DROP IN WINDOWS. I tested this by copying a 4GB folder filled w/ PDFs using both drag and drop and the Aleratec Duplication Suite onto 10 USB 2.0 sticks. Both copy jobs took 27 minutes.I expected this device to show up in Windows as 1 drive and when you copy over to it, the device handles sending that file to each drive. Instead, each port is exposed to Windows and when you do a copy (either through the software or drag and drop), Windows send a copy of the file to each drive. This behavior was confirmed by Aleratec phone support as "works as expected".In my opinion, save your self $300 and buy a nice USB hub.
