We bought a sewing machine at a garage sale and it was missing a few minor parts, these being one of them. We got them quickly and they were absolutely correct for the machine we'd bought.

One of them fits my sewing machine, so worked for what I needed

Fit my Singer Athena 2000 ‘Touchtronic’ machine perfectly! In fact, they are a little more snug than I expected, which is a good thing.As another reviewer showed, I put one of the pair on as a base, then the thread, then the 2nd one as the holder. That way, maybe I won’t lose both of these as I somehow lost track of the original!

Fits perfectly on the spool pin of a Singer 5825C. As others reviewers have noted, there are burrs that can potentially catch on the thread. I am using mines back to back as pictured, so far no catching after 3 hours of constant sewing. I’ll probably use a fine-grit sandpaper to de-burr the edges. Wish I didn’t have to risk damaging the pieces altogether by making adaptations after spending $10 on cheap 10¢ plastic parts from China. Then again, what do you expect people. These are overpriced 10¢ plastic parts, so get over it and get yourself some sand paper!

Does exactly what it needs to do. Got my singer used and it didn't come with the caps.
