Not able to carry 80 lbs.
Bought the same product on 28 Feb 2016. But this particular TurnTable was from a different manufacturer and not same as my previous purchase about 10 days back. Was not able to carry weight above 80 lbs whereas the product description says that it can carry up to "175 lbs". There was a slight wobbling as well on the top moving part.

Nice, clean design. Works well
We are using this turntable to rotate items while making videos. The clean, simple design works well for this. It turns parts of several pounds with no problem. The unit has somewhat of a "clutch" in that it will not push the object against resistance to turning. Our unit sometimes turns clockwise, sometimes counter-clockwise.

Junk Good for nothing
This Item can not handle up to 175 lbs. It wobbles and does not do full rotation. It will turn 30% of the way and then go back. Its made of very cheap plastic feels like a toy. Sending it back. Does anyone know where I can get a good motorized turntable?

Really great for videos with white background. Good solid feel. It's worth the money.

Clean, Elegant, Smooth Design
This motorized turntable, compared to similiar items, is a bit pricey but in my opinion you get what you pay for. It works very well for my handmade, one of a kind leather handbags. The manufacturer's website also offers free photography editing software and suggestions for camera accessories, quite helpful. You can change the direction of the spin simply by turning the simple switch to off and turning the top by hand about a half turn.The only small issue I found is that it does make a very low occasional "noise", sort of like a squeak for lack of a better word.
