100 Mexican Tiles Mix

UPDATE: These tiles are soft and fragile as it turns out. Several months after install, three in a row have cracked on a window ledge that I use for nothing but a charging station. I'm sad that three have cracked above a small gap in the wood beneath them. If you use these, they are pretty, but soft and must have a very solid subsurface below them. They might be better-suited as decoration. I stand by the rest of my review as follows...YOU WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a gamble buying these with only one other (awesome) Amazon review. First, shipping? VERY well packed. There was a piece of corrugated tile-size cardboard between each tile and two on the row ends. Then small spaces were packed tightly with newspaper from Mexico and we had fun looking through those. Then there was more cardboard on top and bottom of tiles. Then the entire box was wrapped very tightly, and 100% covered with strapping tape. Solid as a little rock. That resulted in no broken tiles, that I've found yet. I admit I haven't taken them all out yet, but I've pulled out a dozen randomly and they were perfect!The quality? WOWEEEE! DO I WISH I could put photo's here! Maybe some day, Amazon? They took our breath away. I almost felt like I got way more than what I paid for. Shhhh! They are true terra cotta backing. They are heavy, quality pieces. The glazing is as pretty as any box store quality high-gloss glaze. The colors are magnificent. I was like a kid in a candy store when I opened that box. Houzz.com has endless creative and genuine design ideas for these babies and I am TOO excited to get started. You can use 4 of the same pattern/tile together to make a larger pattern etc etc etc.Shipping was aboout 10 days I think? But they're coming from Mexico and TOTALLY worth the little bit of wait.I cannot say enough about these. Now I'm thinking of buying another box of 100!!!!! HOLD ME BACK! :D I have to be careful not to get carried away w/these bc they are THAT pretty. When my neighbor saw them, she was speechless! Then we both laughed. Thank you to the makers and seller. I could not be more pleased.

I purchased these as escort cards/favors for my wedding. They are lovely and they worked perfect! We bought a giant bag of the tiny felt stickies that you place on the bottom of furniture to keep them from scratching the floor. We stuck four on the back of each tile and they are beautiful coasters/spoon rests. We're tying a tag with each guest's name and table number to each tile. I can't wait to see them laid out on the table at our wedding - they are going to look beautiful!Each tile looked great. Not a single chip or crack. There were about 5 of each tile. The tiles don't exactly match the ones shown in the picture, but honestly I think the patterns that we got are even prettier than the ones in the picture. Overall, fantastic value! (At least, for our purposes, which obviously, weren't tiling.)

I finally received my tiles today...they were carefully packed with cardboard between each tile... all intact. They're beautiful , and certainly a bargain (I priced similar out at a local tile store and they were at LEAST double the cost). The *only* thing that caused me not to give 5 stars is that i was hoping they would all be random and different...however, there are 5 of each of the designs I was sent, resulting in only 20 different designs in the box of 100. Plenty of variety, but I envisioned a hodge-podge which would have suited my project a bit better. Overall an excellent purchase!

THese tiles are fantastic! Just what I wanted. I was very happy to find these. Delivery took awhile but they came very well wrapped. None were chipped or broken. They even sent extras. There are 5 of each pattern. It's true that they are not all perfectly matched in thickness or size but you can hide that with grout. I did a combination of these and the two inch tiles in my kitchen and they look amazing. I would absolutely buy these again!

We purchased these to build a back splash on our new kitchen island and it turned out great! I was very pleased to receive the tiles unbroken despite their fragility and the distance they were shipped. The supplier even packed a couple of extra tiles just in case of breakage...or perhaps to create a tight fit. We did have a couple of tiles break because of our mishandling after they arrived. However, that was a good reminder that we had to be more careful when handling these beautifully-made tiles.

These arrived as scheduled and with a great variety of styles and a few extra tiles for good measure. As noted in a few other reviews, they are not all exactly the same size and not perfectly square (they are handmade). We installed them on an outside wall in a covered patio area and they look great.

The tiles are as shown in the picture, vibrant colors and good designs. It was very well packaged and no damage to any tiles. Only drawback they are not exactly 4x4. They are more like 4.15 X 4.15. I used them in my kitchen back splash and they add a dash of color, however I had to have the base tiles cut to fit these tiles measure. The 4x4 did not work with them.

The tiles arrived before the notice that they had been shipped. The packaging was excellent but two tiles were broken which is inconsequential as my bar top only requires 78. Establishing the arrangement was fun -- like working a puzzle. The tiles are irregular in size with variances as much as a quarter of an inch. One tile pattern was appreciably smaller than the others so I opted not to use that particular pattern. Another tile pattern was thicker than the others. The irregularities made me decide to cover my bar top in glass to make for a more even surface resulting in protecting the tiles with easier cleaning. I expect a lot of compliments once my outdoor bar is complete with its Spanish tile roof, stucco face and these awesome tiles. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because of the size irregularities are greater than expected.
