Le Toy Van Wooden Construction Vehicles Set

Mr. 15-mo is going through his beep beep phase and these were a home run. STRONG RECOMMEND- perfect for toddler-sized hands- not super expensive wooden toys but have great little details- also stackable/compatible with other blocks- the wheels actually work, which really elevates them- perfect add-mixture of things that go beep

I love these vehicles! They are really nice quality. They have held up. They fit Brio-type wooden tracks. They are perhaps a little oversize compared to other track vehicles, but they are so sweet and charming. The one downside is that longer vehicles don't quite fit in garage elevators and train track roundabouts. When I play with my son, I always choose these cars! These will last a long, long time.

Had this in my “list” for over a year and was waiting for it to be in stock. So glad I snatched it up when it came back for Christmas! My son loves these! My only complaint is that the excavator falls over as the wheel base is skinny. But overall they are wooden and well made so I can’t complain.

I watched a YouTube video that recommended this toy company. The trucks are great quality and my toddler enjoys playing with them. I like how they come in a variety of colors, and the size is great for all ages. I would recommend these cars to someone looking for a gift for a toddler/young child!

I purchased these cars along with another set to go along with the Le Toy Van garage set. Are a very cute, but I quickly found out that they are not safe for small children. The wheel came off of one of the cars after the second use, which left me searching for a tiny rod and cap before my 10 month old could find them.

Birthday gift for granddaughter. She loves them!

The cars themselves are lovely, beautiful, and well made; however I purchased these to go with the Le Toy Van garage, and they don't work very well on the slides, and they don't fit in the parking spots. Not a big deal, my 5-year old doesn't seem to care... They still get 5 stars because the cars themselves are excellent quality.

This is the second purchase of Le Toy Van cars we have bought for our toddler. While these may not be made from solid oak (I believe they are MDF or similar) they are nicely designed, the wheels and axles feel solid and they take a good beating. The packaging was also noticeably presentable and had no unnecessary plastic ties etc. The paint finish is fairly solid but don't expect it to stand up to a few dozens crashes, tosses and rolls across the floor. It will eventually start to wear. What was important for us was the confidence that these items are over engineered to the point loose pieces would not be found by our 1 year old, which I have complete faith in as they are solidly built.These are slightly more expensive than some of the competitors but I fell in love with the design. They have a certain "je nais ce quoi" as their website claims, that some other designs do not. Having already purchased the small 3 piece retro set and the London set, we look forward to expanding the collection in-time for Christmas.

This is the 2nd set I’ve bought for my grandson & he LOVES them. The 1st set was so well used I needed a new one. HOWEVER both the first and now the 2nd set have the same flaw. A small piece of wood has broken off one of the toys in both sets. In the original it took some weeks to happen and I put that down to plenty of use but this time it happened on the very first day (see photo). I’m really disappointed but can’t see where to complain! Hoping this review will be read by Le Toy or Amazon and ill get answers.

These cars and the packaging were a complete hit. Bought these for my 2 year old nephew for his birthday and out of the many gifts he got this was his favourite. He absolutely loved taking them out of the box and putting them back in (with a little help as they are not quite meant for that and so can get stuck). The quality is fantastic, they seem very durable as were dropped many times without any denting. I love the variety and my nephew enjoyed saying “car” or “neenor” as he took each one out. This gift brought many hours of fun and continue to do so, much to his dads annoyance as his fancy remote control car didn’t get a look in - in fact it got kicked out of the way several times to play with his wooden cars.

I bought this for my ASD son as I was preparing a lesson for him about construction trucks. First day I received my order, instead of receving 5, i got 4 vehicles so I sent back the item and I ordered them again. This time 5 of them arrived but the quality is absolutely terrible. My son wasn't even playing roughly as we were having lesson about this and then I can see that one of the toys is broken and chipped. So it's not only bad quality but also dangerous as they can put these bits in the mouth. I honestly expected them to be really good quality especially for the price I paid. I should have followed all the negative comments and bought another brand. Truly disappointed as my son loves it but I have to take 2 of them away so that he doesn't get harm and I'm not buying this again.

Good quality cars for the most part. My complaint about them is that they are nicely painted with the exception of the windscreens; those are stickers. While the rest of the toy is great and easy to clean, the stickers started to peel off right away, before I even tried to clean them. I have to be very careful with them now, which isn't really suitable for a children's toy. Why didn't they just paint the windscreen on too?
