Really cute book on Sicilian desserts
Really cute book with excellent recipes for traditional sweet treats from Sicily. The book is filled with beautiful images of Sicily and text which explains the history of the various desserts, as well as the history of this fascinating region itself.

Recipes in art form!
This isn’t just a recipe book, it’s a history book and an art book! One of my favorites in my collection. And the recipes are good both in Italian and English.

The pictures are gorgeous and in the book you find the history and culture of Sicily, not just recipes; maybe the sweet are not easy for all to make and the ingredients not available everywhere, but it’s just great

LUV every page.
First time I saw this book, I was actually eating the best Cannoli ever (yes, I had more than one rsrs) while walking around and appreciating the gorgeous Taormina. Felt in love and ordered it the same day. Not disapointed at all. Only the pics are already divine and the recipes well written. Really an invitation to cook all those pices of heaven.

Sweet Sicily
Mi è molto piaciuto perchè non è un semplice ricettario, intanto rivela come il fare dolci è quasi un rito nella cultura siciliana, poi il contributo personale ed emozionale dell' autrice è molto coinvolgente e le fotografie sono davvero spettacolari. Il prossimo Natale lo regalerò alle mie più care amiche!
