exceeds expectations
Great locks for the price, I already had a RA coin door with a lock that uses the same key6086... or is it 9809? anyway locks are great.. bought 25mm locks perfect for 3/4 woodwould have been nice having 2 keys per lock, and wood screws for the wood plate.but other than that great little locks, would buy again if I need more.p.s some complain about breaking keys.. if your having to put enough force on the key to break it.. something is wrong.. it doesn't take much to turn these locks.also yes the lock captures the key, it' s not a bug it's a feature.. see these are often installed on cash boxes & things like that.. they typically don't have a handle (smooth faced) to make breaking into them more difficult.. the captured key acts like a handle for opening them.

Great locks for home use only
Good quality locks for your Candy cabs or retro arcades. The 19mm is mostly standard for any cab. Working great on my CAPCOM Mini Cute, Astro City & NEO 25.All locks have the same key number, making it easy to open any of your arcades with one key (or a couple of the same key for control panel), so i wouldn't recommended for retail arcades since any key from this seller can open all locks. The key holder is plastic, so just take that to consideration when you tighten up your locks.

Well worth the price!!!
I used these on my RV cargo doors. Some jerk pulled open all of the cargo doors, for what i do not know. I replaced all of the locks and latches with these. The installation was easy. If you want to be able to pull the key from the lock (after it's unlocked) take one of the keys and file down the outside aligning tab. That can be done with sandpaper, emery board or even a razor knife/blade. To change the direction of the unlock to locking direction.... Simply remove the smaller nut, on the back end of the lock cylinder and there is a piece that sits on the same shaft as the nut. It looks like a washer with the outer edges cut away to fit the cylinder. Just let it slide off and roll it over. The kit comes with a spike washer that keeps the cylinder from turning while locking/unlocking. I purchased three boxes (five locks with five keys) all of the keys were the same for all three kits (plenty of extras). Check the numbers on the keys and check each lock with the key for proper operation.

These WILL NOT fit “up to a 5/8” thick door”, more like 3/8”
These are just cheap locks like all of them like this are. I thought by looking at the picture these might be a little better because it looked like they took an extra step to put a plastic coating on the metal end of the key, the picture is kind of deceptive, that is not what they did, instead they went even cheaper and didn’t even make the full key out of metal, the entire piece you hold while using is all plastic just glued onto the metal lock end of the key. They are certainly going to end up breaking off in your pocket, good thing you end up with plenty of extra keys.I ordered 5 sets, all of them came keyed alike with no need to specify anything. I imagine also like all the other cheap locks all of these use the same “6086” or “9809” (depending on which way you look at it) key.The description claims the 19mm locks will fit a door thickness of up to 5/8”, that is an absolute lie, see my included picture. These, if fully assembled and the nut only tightened one single turn, will fit a door thickness of only about 3/8” or less. I ordered these for 1/2” thick doors and the only way I could use them was to not use the outer trim ring (which is intended to prevent someone from grabbing the lock face with pliers and just forcing it to turn), not using the inside washer, and only being able to turn the nut on maybe 1/2 turn (barely on at all). Their measurement neglects to account for the trim ring, the backing washer and enough threads to properly tighten the nut. If your door is any more than 3/8” thick DO NOT order the “19mm” ones. If your door is 5/8” thick like they claim These fit you will not get these to fit no matter what you do. I’d love to see a picture from this seller showing these fully assembled snd installed on a 5/8” thick door, not happening. The description did mention you can not remove the key in the unlocked position. This is a problem if, like in my own situation, you have more than one lock on your door you’re using it on, you’ll have to carry and use two keys at the same time. I ended up filing off the single tab that sticks out on the outside of the key, (the tab on the inside is fine to leave). This will allow you to lock or unlock and still remove the key. If you configure it backwards, so the locked position of the cylinder is locked when the key would normally be unlocked, and have the tab filed off, other people who have this same lock and key (probably everyone) will not be able to use their key on your lock (unless they were also smart enough to figure out you can file that tab off).Would I order these again? Probably not just because of how cheap the key is made with the plastic piece, I noticed others at least had a full metal key. I’d also order a set that would fit a thicker door, you can always screw the nut on more if your door is thinner, but you can only allow the nut to be screwed out so far.

Key only removable when locked
Work's well but can't leave it unlocked. You could modify the key to remove it by fileing the tang off if you can remember how to insert it. Would only turn if inserted correctly.

Plastic on key
If you turn the key too hard the plastic breaks apart

Wonderful Product and Value
There were so many people selling similar locks that I spent way too much time reading through all the listings. These were the best price at only $2 each. I think they are able to do it because they all use the same key which was fine with me. The quality was good and 3 are now in use and I had no problems installing. It came with 5 so now I have 2 back ups.
