I’m addicted to Pocari Sweat, but hate the bottled cost! This is the solution!!
Affordable option for Pocari Sweat addicts! This is my favorite way to stay hydrated because it tastes so much better than US hydration packs or liquid IV products.Bottled Pocari sweat is very expensive with import costs— but this gets around that! You mix the powder into water and you have as much Pocari as you want

Basically Japan’s Gatorade. Delicious and great for fitness-related electrolyte replacement
Pocari Sweat is basically Japan’s version of Gatorade sports drink. This package is a single packet designed to make 10 litres of solution. I mistakenly thought it was 10 packets for 1 litre, each, but that’s no big deal. The packets for 1 litre of solution are 74 grams each, so just weigh out 74 grams of powder to 1000 mL of water (or a full Nalgene 1 litre bottle). For lovers of everything Japanese, Pocari Sweat is a novelty that isn’t sold directly in the US (to my knowledge, at least, I’ve never seen it at retail), but the price is pretty reasonable via Amazon, at about $1.35/litre equivalent. Although Otsuka Pharma doesn’t sell a carbonated version, you can mix 74 grams of powder with 200 mL of water, then dilute 1:4 with carbonated water to make your own, which is quite tasty and refreshing. I’m actually surprised they don’t sell it as soda in cans, because I think it would sell pretty well. For home use, the 10 L packet is fine, but I will probably pick up some 1 L packets for backpacking/travel.

Amazing hydration alternative
I swear by this product. Used it for my Grand Canyon rim to rim hike. I enjoy the flavor and the benefits of this drink were good enough to take me through with no cramping. If you also live in humid places, this drink really does replenish drained electrolytes. If I could be sponsored by them, I would.

Good stuff
Best deal I can find with this stuff, bottles cost more (taste is just right, but price too much in the long run, and alot of plastic)Just get a 1-2 gallon jug and stir into taste and you have a limitless supply of Pocari Sweat. Good stuff, given I like the flavor (slight citrus flavor and a sweet-tart hint) more than most Gatorade and Powerade (Glacier freeze and Mountain Blast are my top competitors)

Good value for cost Japanese electrolyte drink mix
not a flavor for everyone but is a neutral flavor with a slight grapefruit-like taste to it. takes well to very small amounts of added flavor from something like powdered lemonade or other drink powders. shipped well from this seller great value.

Love it, more Pocari for your buck.
Awesome product, super fast shipping, I’m a returning customer! The big bag is meant for the 5 gallon container, and they’re not individually bagged. I scoop about a Tablespoon and half into a 16oz cold water bottle, and it tastes just right to me. If not strong enough? Just add more to your taste! I get more out of this big bag than the individual smaller packets. A lot cheaper too!I keep the whole bag in an air tight container with some silica packs to preserve freshness and keep the powder from clumping.I also bought some small plastic ‘glitter’ storage 1.5 oz bottles from Joann’s to keep some In my backpack. I don’t want people to think I’m a dealer by having a bunch of small ziplock baggies on me. Lol

Tokyo Marathon
This is the sports drink that is served at the Tokyo Marathon. Yeah-one of the 6 Major Marathons that are part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. So-train with what they use on the course. This is a good buy for the money. Can't really translate the powder to water mixture ratio. But I went with what seemed right, a "gatorade" scoop for about 16-20 ounces of water. The taste is mild, hard to describe, not fruity. I suppose it's as effective at replacing electrolytes and hydration as any Sports drink. No ill effects, no stomach issues, I'm glad I bought it and tried it.
