This is a quality product.
I bought Noico black and silver sound deadening mat and this review is the same for either colour. The accompanying instructions are useful regarding the preparation for and the application of the mats. While I appreciate the health and safety instructions cover a range of people they are of the Doom and Gloom category with dire warnings. The advice of using gloves is a hinderance, it’s is easier to detach fingers from the adhesive than gloves. The adhesive side of the mat is like a super sticky Blu Tack and is easily removed and as for the aluminium being dangerous resulting in cuts I don’t know how you could end up cutting yourself. You do need to invest in a good quality roller, a 30mm is a good size to get into most places and a well rounded and smooth piece of wood/plastic is useful to roll out the inaccessible areas. The mats are excellent quality and just from the weight alone they should do a great job. They are easy to install and rolling them out is harder. Be careful when sticking them, make sure they are positioned correctly before pressing hard on them as once they stick that’s it. I have used them on a 40 year old car which had rudimentary insulation/sound deadening installed when made so I’m sure they will do what they claim - as other reviews claim.

Decent stuff!
Works a treat! I applied mine with a heatgun (heat the metal slightly prior to installation) on the roof but on the floor I just wanged it straight down!I read the manufacturers blurb about this product also and they say you shouldn't apply it to bare metal as it will cause rust, so bear that in mind!Defo recommend, and it's cheaper than some of the others!Cheers Jeff!

Make a massive difference
Huge difference in terms of road noise when applying to the inner body of your car. Gets ride of a lot of the noise you would hear from grit and small stones flicking up into the arches.

Great product- really works in my Defender!
Fitted this to my 1989 Land Rover Defender and the difference in resonating drumming noises is fantastic. This was enough to line my doors, seat box, floor panels and inside battery box, with quite a few sheets left to tackle the rear of the car. This simply stops the hellish, low frequency bass drumming that occurs in all Land Rover defenders. Massive difference and I’d recommend doing this to anyone wanting to have a conversation inside their landy whilst driving!

Good quality for good price
Black colour is nice idea but it’s just painted foil which comes off easily so silver is just better option. Quality is great, 2mm thickness good to work with, easy to cut. And is cheaper than leading brands. Bought two boxes 6.8square meters and did bonnet, boot and boot door, all doors and wheel arches..and still have some left. Doors are more solid now and car is quite. Want to do roof and floor. Will need another box. Well spent money. Btw my car is Auris MK2 Hybrid-it is whisper quite already.

Works brilliantly, great value.
Used to insulate doors and boot of my Outback for an audio install. Brilliant product, easy to apply and of high quality. The car is noticeably quieter and rattles have been eliminated, all for the fraction of the price of Dynamat. Would thoroughly recommend.
