Quality Product & Gets the Job Done
I know with electronic like these, there are a million choices and often times "you get what you pay for" mentality comes into play. You try to weigh the cost of the product with the quality of product. Well, this is a situation where you are getting the best of both worlds. The cost of the product is minimal (compared to other like products) but the build of the product still seems quality. And the item gets the job done as stated. No problems with any port and it all seems to work just fine and dandy.

2 macbooks with only USB-C ports needed this
Worked great on 2 touch bar macbooks we tested with for the HDMI port to a monitor. First macbook didn't work on first try, but switched to a different port once, and worked after that, even on the first failed port. Second macbook didn't have any problems. Thank you!

Quality Build, great price
Great little device. Used this on my HP Spectre laptop. Ethernet and USB ports worked flawlessly so far. Haven't tried TF/SD, HDMI, or female USB-C port, but I will report back when I do. It does tend to get warm, but not hot enough that you can't pick it up. I'm sure the anodized aluminum housing helps dissipate the heat. The overall quality is very high, including the cable of the male USB-C connector. I would definitely purchase again. Thanks INNOMAX!

Fast card reader with slick design!
This unit works great to connect my SD, Mini SD and Compact Flash card to my computer. The flexible connector allows the unit to connect to the computer in many formations making it convenient to use on the go. There is an LED light on the unit that confirms it is reading the card, which is very helpful. The only drawback I see is that the card slots are a little tight. When you insert your card you feel as though you may be inserting it in the wrong way at first. This is due to the tight opening of each card slot. I haven't noticed any damaged to the plastic cards, but was concerned at first that this may wear on the cards over time. It has loosened a bit since I first used it so I am hoping it continues so there are no issues. Great unit so far!

Its backward compatibilitywith older USB 2 devices
I like the fact that it worked with my older printer and usb hard drive.11-8-2018I originally gave 4 stars now I'm Updating to 1 star. I connected with Amazon product help via chat but they are no help!. less than 2 months of use the product gets hot and stops charging the Mac. Then the Amazon product help wants me to plug it into different ports (like I have not done that already) and see if it still gets hot. (gets hot is the problem that they picked up on) . Anyways this could simply be a defective product but the fact that it seems Amazon or whoever sold this via Amazon does not warrant. This is the second electronic product I purchased from Amazon that failed within a very short period of ownership that did not get repaired or replaced under warranty. I think I'm going back to the brick and mortar stores for my future electronic items needs.

Good quality, easy to use.
This product works exactly as expected, is decent quality (feels very sturdy & well-made). It costs a little more than some of the other options available but the quality is well worth it; it's a good price for the product.

Worked great until I decided to switch to an external keyboard
The device just works, at least for what I was using it for during the first two years. For me, that was to plug in my memory cards, or to connect USB devices. Occasionally, I used it to connect to an external monitor via HDMI.There was never an issue, until I began working from home much more often, and decided to plug in an external keyboard, along with an HDMI monitor. One of the USB devices is the dongle for my wireless keyboard. While both keyboard dongle and HDMI were plugged into the hub, half the time, I experienced dropped keypresses. At first, I thought my keyboard was faulty, but from reading forums, a few people reported a similar issue. Like them, I decided to see what would happen if I unplugged the HDMI, and voila... all my keypresses were back. Now, the fault of what I explained could also be from my Macbook Pro 15 2017, being unable to process both signals through a single USB-C, and I don't have more than two hubs to test with, so there could be reasonable doubt that it's the fault of the hub. But again, I also don't experience this issue with the other hub that I used at the office, so I can only make my conclusion that this hub is to be used for either keyboard, or for HDMI, but not both at the same time.I've since upgraded my monitor and use a separate port connected to a DPI adapter. I still use the Innomax hub for my keyboard and other USB devices/memory cards.

and will provide easy access to additional USB ports
I received this a few days ago. I tried everything out and it works as advertised. I got it primarily to read my camera SDHC card from my camera. I recently got a new IMAC and with this, I don't have to turn the computer around to insert the card, and will provide easy access to additional USB ports. I really like the push to lock/unlock feature for the SDHC card and the on/off and DC power lights. It also looks good and matches the IMAC.
